Opening SS18 Maybelline New York

Check out Thomas de Kluyver for Maybelline New York who created these amazing looks for the Opening Ceremony’s SS18 show.

The theme was fused 90s club kids with Disney princesses. Thomas de Kluyver for Maybelline New York kept the makeup looks “fun and playful, like a fashion accessory,” using the bright bold colors from the collection to inspire the five unique makeup looks shown on the runway.

Thomas applied a small amount of Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation, and spot corrected with Fit Me! Concealer. To finish the face, Thomas mixed Master Chrome Highlighter in Rose Gold with Baby Lips Balm in Quenched to create a glowy, rose gold highlight on the cheekbones.

After filling in brows with Total Temptation Brow Definer, Thomas blended Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil in Cashmere White over the top of the lids to act as an eyeshadow base. He then used a mixture of several ExpertWear Mono Eyeshadows, along with the NEW Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette (launching June 2018), to create the unique colorful lids. Additionally, Thomas used a never-before-seen palette, launching later this year, for the stunning purple hues within the color-blocked eyes.

Thomas applied a thin layer of Baby Lips Balm in Quenched to the lips for a hydrated look.
