Gigi Hadid

Inspiration: Inspired by the Comme Des Garçons theme, we chose a look to complement the deconstructed nude dress with black fishnet stocking, and a look we dubbed the “whisper wing and whisper brows.” The wing is avante garde, deconstructed, and created with an open and outward motion that is bold and fierce to match the volume of the gown.

Breakdown:

Face: Starting with a clean, moisturized face, Erin applied Maybelline New York Master Prime in Blur + Illuminate, followed by Maybelline New York Dream Cushion Foundation to ensure Gigi’s complexion looked clean, bright and luminous. Erin then finished the look with Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte and Poreless Powder to mattify the tone and texture of Gigi’s skin. To highlight her cheekbones and nose, Erin used Maybelline New York Master Strobing Liquid, and finished her complexion by spraying the face with Maybelline New York Face Studio Master Fix Setting Spray to give skin a natural, luminous finish to last all night!

Brows: To amplify Hadid’s new faux bleached brows, Erin used Maybelline New York Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer with Maybelline New York Brow Precise Volumizer in Blond brushed through to set and define her brows.

Eyes: Hadid wanted the eyes to look bright and illuminated yet sultry to match her look. To acheive the desired look, Erin applied Maybelline New York The Rock Nudes Eye Shadow Palette to create dimension and vibrancy. To create the deconstructed winged look, Erin used the Maybelline New York Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil in Sleek Onyx combined with the Maybelline New York Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner to keep the look looking as striking, bold and prominent as possible. To complete the eye, apply Maybelline New York The Falsies Push Up Angel Waterproof Mascara with a few individual lashes added on to punch up the look.

Lips: Erin completed the look with the new Maybelline New York Superstay Matte Ink (available in June) in Loyalist  – creating a flesh tone shade – to complement Hadid’s bold eye look and the hue of her gown.
