Celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russell worked with Christina Hendricks for the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 20 in Los Angeles, California.
“Starting on damp hair, I used Phyto Volume Spray through the roots and Leonor Greyl Serum De Soie Sublimateur through the lengths. I then selected a middle part and brushed through the hair with my Sheila Stotts brush. I blew her hair out with my Harry Josh Blow Dryer and Harry Josh Round Brush. I set each section with a duckbill clip, and after the hair cooled, I brushed through with my Mason Pearson Popular Brush.
I curled the hair section by section with my 1.25″ Harry Josh Marcel Iron. After releasing the hair from the iron, I immediately pin curled it to retain shape and lasting body. Once I was all the way through, I let the hair cool for 10 minutes. I then removed each section and sprayed with Kevin Murphy Fresh.Hair Dry Cleaning Spray and brushed through with the Mason Pearson brush. After that, I used a small amount of the Leonory Greyl Baume Bois de Rose to polish the look. I emulsified a small amount in my hands and then ran through the length of the hair. To finish, I used my Mason Pearson brush to achieve the right shape and softness and locked the style in with Leonor Greyl Voluforme Styling Spray.”
