Chloe Grace Moretz
Celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russell worked with Chloë Grace Moretz for the ‘Neighbors 2’ Premiere on Monday, May 17th in Los Angeles, CA.
“I was inspired by the Chloë’s Alexander McQueen dress to create a soft effortless but detailed low knot.”
GET THE LOOK:
“I prepped Chloë’s damp hair with Leonor Greyl mousse at the roots and then used OUAI oil lightly through the ends and hairline. I then center parted her hair and blew dry it with a Mason Pierson flat brush with volume at the roots. After dry I used a 1.5″ curling iron pulling small random sections to curl into different directions to create texture. I then used Kevin Murphy Doo.Over throughout with structure and texture. I used a small amount of the OUAI oil, emulsified in between my hands, and lightly worked the ends of the hair for softness and definition.
I then sectioned out the front of the hair and pulled the rest of the hair into a low knot and secured with French pins and Bobby pins. After I pulled some random pieces into the knot and left face framing layers to tuck behind ears and frame face out of the knot. I then added some braided pieces cross crossing them over the knot pinning with additional French pins. I finished by pulling out some of the hair through the top for softness and texture. I set the hair with OUAI soft lacquer hairspray.”
