Right now temperatures are sweltering all over the country. Hair is going flat, sweat is rolling down backs and in between breasts, and worst of all, makeup is running down faces! Not the best weather for looking cool…no pun intended:)
But fear not my beauty junkies…you can still look and remain cool even in the hottest weather. Go into your closet, pull out one of your favorite sundresses or outfits. Then put your hair up into a high pony tail and let the cool warm breeze whiz past your neck…Ahhhhh, I feel better already…don’t you?
Now for your face…Very little makeup is needed in the warmer seasons. A little Lashblast Fusion mascara from CoverGirl, (my new favorite mascara), some sunscreen, a little gloss on your lips, and you are out the door! Feeling a little oily on your face? Then carry Oily-Doily blotting sheets in your purse. Easy to use…gently blot your entire face for a more matted look. One sheet should do the trick!

Simple yet beautiful...
Keep cool my girls…

I can’t think of a better way to raise money for a National Women’s History Museum in Washington, D.C., then listening to some of the major icons in music at New York City’s Center. On April 12, Brooke Shields & Meryl Streep hosted the 125th anniversary of Good House Keeping Magazine by saluting influential and inspirational women in America.

There was a room filled with “girl power” that night says our BSW NYC reporter. “It was so amazing to be in the company of influential women like Meryl Streep, Marlee Matlin, Brooke Shields, Fran Drescher, Kristen Bell, Laura Benanti, and Hilary Duff. The high point of the evening…Aretha Franklin!” WOW.

These women were all decked out in the latest fashions with hair and make up looking clean and fresh. Easy to achieve with a good mascara, foundation, and black eyeliner…and let’s not forget a good gloss!
This event raised millions of dollars for such a great cause…It’s important for young girls of today to know that women are powerful and capable of anything! BSW can’t wait for the National Women’s History Museum to be built! It’s amazing how little is out there about women’s history…It’s about time, don’t ya think…
