If you haven’t already heard of these extremely talented girls and their gorgeous shoes then let me personally open up your shoe rack to them…We met Jen and Kim at a Bridal Expo back in September in West Hollywood.  Their display had us stopping in our tracks and lingering a little longer than necessary…but how could we help ourselves when our feet started doing a happy dance…

Jen and Kim Shoes are not only sexy, hot & so very stylish, they are super comfy…All I can say is “where were they when I got married”…I ended up barefoot by the time the band started playing…According to the girls, they hear this quite often from brides…however, their biggest pet peeve is a bride in flip flops…LOL!  A definite “NO” in the world of Jen and Kim Shoes…(if you are wearing a pair of their custom designed shoes, this would never be an issue)

This past Saturday we got to see them in action at The Bridal Bar located on North Doheny in West Hollywood, Ca.  The joint was filled with brides to be looking for personal guidance with their pending weddings.  The Bridal Bar is set up to help brides plan every aspect of their wedding including invitations, makeup & hair (which our in house beauty expert Beth Bender does), cakes and of course…the perfect shoe to match their dress by Jen and Kim…

The girls were busy assisting the brides, giving their expert advice in designing the perfect bridal shoe.  Jen and Kim also design shoes for entire bridal parties and most importantly…for anyone else looking for a stylish shoe that’s extremely comfy.

Each shoe is custom designed and made here in the USA…prices range between $400 – $600 but well worth it…you will have these forever and they will always be in style:)

This is the story of two ambitious & talented young gals who have been BFF’s since the 6th grade…Jen and Kim. Soon after these BFF’s graduated from college, Jen had a dream about starting her own shoe company and Kim had the ability to design them.  So, they hit the busy streets of Manhattan in search of a manufacturer.  Unfortunately, no one could custom make their designs so they headed West to sunny California and found not only 1 manufacturer but 3!

But I’m getting a little ahead of myself…Jen got into the retail end of shoes so she could learn everything about the shoe business while Kim enrolled at FIDM to study shoe design.  Kim graduated in 2006 and immediately got hired at “Chocolat” working under Fred Slatten (known for his amazing Diana Ross & Elton John platform designs). Fred was Kim’s inspiration.

Here are a few examples of their very sexy & hot platforms…and they are extremely comfy since the girls make sure their manufacturer in Sun Valley pumps them up with proper padding!

All designs are custom made to order and the girls will mix any texture that you desire.  They are constantly taking orders for custom made “Bridal Shoes” that specifically match the Bride or Bridesmaids dress.

I have personally tried on their designs and girls…they are not only extremely sexy and flattering on any leg but so, so comfortable.  I could actually walk in them for hours….and I have very sensitive flat feet!
