Over the Holidays, Beth and I were invited to Deva Spa located at 425 Broome Street in New York City.  It happened to be an extremely cold day as we made our way from the subway station.  When we arrived we were greeted by a very pregnant Candida, the Spa Director, who immediately welcomed us and asked if we wanted any tea…I guess she knew we were in need of thawing…

The spa was very tranquil and inviting.  No special titles were needed to feel like royalty here!  The Bender Sisters were excited to have their Everybody Massage and Mani-Pedi. (If having more than 1 treatment I advise you to block out at least 4 hours of your day.) Dominique Bousquet took me first for my massage.  She led me down the most beautiful corridor to a spa room that had a stone tiled shower encased in glass.  It was used to rinse off your body after the polishing segment of the “Everybody Massage.”

Sorry, couldn’t help myself…
