Let Me Introduce Myself

Posted by Te-see on 4th December 2008

Hi all, Te-see here. I’ve been involved in fashion and beauty for over 20 years. I started out in front of the camera as a model and worked my way into film and television. Fashion trends have done a complete 180 since the 80’s. It seems that anything goes right now. But if I had my way shoulder pads will never come back into style.

I’ve traveled all over the world having my picture taken by many photographers. Some of the outfits were wonderful and some were…lets just say, not so wonderful. My hair has been twisted, teased and dyed all for the sake of Fashion & Beauty. In 1992, I decided to pack my bags and head to the west coast in pursuit of an acting career. That alone is a book waiting to happen. (Not to mention all the celebs I dated in NYC along the way) I did the “Hollywood” thang and once I got married it was no longer about me. I sort of got wrapped up in the mommy scene…who knew?…However, I still kept my sense of style because that you should never ever get rid of!

Recently, my sister Beth asked me to come on board as the style editor for beautystylewatch. It will be a challenge since I am juggling motherhood. However, I would like to think that I’m still quite fashionable and trendy for a mother of two!!

Check in with me weekly as I share with you “my must haves & must nots,” “my pic’s of the week,” “deals to die for,” and “celebs who know how to dress.”

Let me leave you with one thought…Here in Hollywood, nobody rolls out of bed looking fabulous. They all have a little help… Some more than others:)

Be apart of the fun. Get everything you need in beauty and style right here with the sisters at beautystylewatch.com. Fashion with a sense of humor…

Oh how I love beauty, fashion and accessories! Just ask my make up draw that’s filled with beauty products and my closet that’s filled with clothing and shoes I just can’t part with. My boyfriend has discovered all of my secret hiding places and even that hasn’t stopped me from continuing to stimulate the economy:)

So was I excited when Splendicity re-launched on Monday? You bet I was. Even me a beauty blogger and make up artist, including my newest beauty blog Aging Fabulous can’t resist checking in with Splendicity every morning. It’s addicting and so much fun at the same time! Just think one site for all the best in beauty, fashion, celebrity style and great gift ideas for anytime. Now that’s what I call a dream come true and I am certain that you’ll agree.

Here’s to all of us shopaholics out there.

xx,

Beth

Get The Look-Star Beauty

Posted by admin on 15th July 2008

beth bender beauty style watch – Get the Look: Celebrity Beauty

Charlize Theron was a bronze goddess at the Paris premiere of Hancock. Her look was “all about the eyes” says celebrity artist beth bender. “Her coloring was such a beautiful compliment to the bronze tones used to contour her eyes and cheeks”.

To get Charlize’s look start by applying a sheer foundation, or tinted moisturizer to the face. Use a sponge for more coverage and a brush for a softer application. We love Vincent Longo’s New Light canvas Tinted Moisturizer. Apply a touch of powder to the T-zone if you tend to get shiny, otherwise skip and go right to the bronzing powder in Just Peachy from beth bender beauty.

Use the Get in Line Smoky Eye Trio in SGB, a must have eyeshadow palette for creating eyes as sexy as Charlize’s.  Brush the Golden Beige shade onto the eyelid and contour the crease of eye with deep bronze. Mix the deep bronze and golden tan together and line underneath eye as seen here on Charlize. Use Stay Put Gel Liner in Onyx, and line the eyes with a flat tapered brush. Make sure to line as close to the lashline as possible.

Finish the eyes with Black Diorshow mascara.  A must have beauty item for lashes that command attention on and off the red carpet.

Brush on Vincent Longo Velvet Riche lip color in Hush Delight and finish with Sunset Liquid Lip Glaze from beth bender beauty.

Your red carpet ready baby!
