Beth and I are so excited to let all of our readers know that celebrity make-up artist Jake Bailey will be joining our team of experts here at Beauty Style Watch. We feel so blessed to have him since he is such an incredible make-up artist and his resume is off the charts! Some of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities do not put one foot on the red carpet before Jake gets them camera ready. He will be letting out readers in on the latest trends and tips for make-up, what’s hot, what’s not, and what celebrities are wearing on their faces, what they can’t live without, and Jake’s favs and so much more.

So many award ceremonies going on right now…This weekend alone in LALA Land we had the “Producers Guild Awards” and “The Screen Actors Guild Awards.” I always dreamed of walking down the red carpet when I was still in the throws of my acting career…but what would I wear???…how would I do my hair…more importantly who would do my make-up!
It’s always about style…especially if you are a celebrity…designers throw their new designs at you just to be seen on public television for their 5 minutes of fame…can you blame them? Stylists are at your beck and call trying to get the right dress, hair & make-up for their clients…it’s utter chaos…but oh, what fun!!!
Some of the most dapper men in the industry were seen at both ceremonies. Jon Hamm from “Madmen” hung out with my hubby back stage at the “Hollywood Palladium” for a smoke in between presenting awards. My husband said he couldn’t be nicer…always good to hear…then the next day my friend and celebrity stylist Diana Schmidtke did Jon’s hair for the “Screen Actors Guild Awards.” Small world in the life of Hollywood. But I’m digressing…
Other stars to be scene were Debra Messing, Laura Linney, Tom Hanks, Ron Howard & Brian Grazer, Arron Eckardt (love him),Greg Kinnear (loved him in “Ghost Town” ), Michael Douglas, Danny Devito, even the fabulous Al Gore!

Laura Linney at the SAG awards. She was also a presenter at the “Producers Guild Awards.“ Laura’s face was glowing in that lovely coral dress. She wore simple jewelry and her hair looked natural and clean. Nothing too big which was quite refreshing. Sometimes less is more…I wonder if she worried about her hair & make-up like the rest of us gals…? So exciting…Congrats to all who went home with an award.
Next stop…The Oscars…Beth and I hope to be on the Red Carpet this year to report back to all of our viewers…why not, I say…
