“The trick to creating this look is to layer the colors to add intensity. This will prevent the eyes from looking too muddy or dark”, says Beth, who also suggested a wash of peach on the lids, which works as a highlighter.  Once you have your desired depth, instead of lining the eyes as you normally would skip the eyeliner all together, and add lots of mascara, top and bottom. “Defining the eyes with just eye shadows will keep the look light and fresh.”

To re-create, start by brushing an espresso shadow up to the crease, and then using a small brush, blend color up towards the end of the eyebrow. Apply a tight black eyeliner along the top lashline, and blend outwards. To finish, add a dark brown pencil on the bottom lashline, and smudge it upwards.
