The infamous cat eye got a lot of red carpet time at this years Grammy Awards, and “Glee” girl Dianna Agron was right in step with her uncharacteristically, but so hot edgy look. When it comes to beauty Dianna is more of a subtle smoky eye girl wearing bronze and rose-gold tones, but she surprised us all with dark shimmery eyeshadow that was really winged out, and a piece-y updo teased and pulled away from her face to showcase her smokin’ eyes.

She’s got a shimmery champagne shimmer on the inner corners, a taupe shimmer on the outer half of her eyes, and a coffee shimmer in her creases for shading. She finished by adding a tight brown gel eyeliner along the lash line which creates depth and makes the bed of her lashes look even thicker. The colors are soft, but when blended together they look beautiful and Miami appropriate for the tropical weather.

Bubble & Bee Organic Stick

I stumbled upon this company called Bubble & Bee who make pure, organic products. From the get-go, they were awesome, responding quickly to my email and sending me two cool products to sample.

As soon as I received my package, I examined the ingredients. Its a smart idea to read all the ingredients for everything you  put on your body. We don’t want an overload of chemicals, right?

And Bubble & Bee offer nothing but gentle, pure ingredients. I think you might be able to eat the lotion stick if you were really hungry. Use it on your kids, try it on a toddler! This stuff is perfect.

The lotion stick is created from- Organic beeswax, organic cocoa butter, organic extra virgin coconut oil, organic sweet almond oil, organic lime essential oil, certified organic coconut scent.

I love swiping this over my heels and elbows. Its perfect to rub over the tops of my hands which get dry often.

The organic lip balm is the bomb too! Just as pure as the lotion, this product- I tried the Coconut Lime-  has a lime essence I love. I’ve

been using this everday and it sits on my bathroom counter to apply before bedtime. As we age, the lips begin to lose collagen and thin out so I like to keep them moisturized. This natural balm does the trick!

Bubble & Bee offer a full range of products, all natural and organic. I am especially curious about their “Pit Putty” and shampoo.

Have you tried going organic? Did you stop using shampoo with sodium lauryl sulfates? Don’t even get me started about aluminumn in deodorants. Make a few healthy changes this month and see how you feel! Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal attended the New York premiere of “Nanny McPhee Returns”. Makeup artist Molly R. Stern of CoverGirl created her red carpet look and shares her step-by-step tips on how get it, and her inspiration behind the look.

Inspired by the beauties of the 1920′s and 30′s, we combined the smoky eye with an added electric element and a deeply stained lip.

I started by prepping the skin with lavender mist by Jurlique and moisturized with SK11 Facial Lift Emulsion.  Next, I primed her skin with COVERGIRL & Olay Simply Ageless Serum-Primer and sparingly used Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation. I blushed the cheek with Chantecaille Aqua Blush in “Daring” with a powder blush overtop.

I smoked the eye out with Shu Uemura IR Purple 795 Pressed Eyeshadow. Then, I lined the top lash line with Sheseido Automatic Fine Eyeliner in brown and smudged out the bottom lash line with COVERGIRL LiquiLineBlast Eye liner in “Violet Voltage”. Then, two coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast Fusion Mascara in Brown with a little black mascara on the ends. Her deep lipstain is the new shade of COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstain in Saucy Plum. To set the look, I used La Mer Treatment Powder Foundation just in the t-zone.

And there you have it! Another Fabulous red carpet look for you to enjoy.
