Okay, I admit it…I got sucked into the bullshit of television infomercials…My purse was an endless black hole in which I could never find my wallet, let alone my damn keys…!  After the 30th time watching the As Seen On TV Ad for Kangaroo Keeper, I decided to check it out.  I went to the site and ordered their “so called” purse organizer for $19.95.  But wait girls, there’s more…not only will you get a set of tan organizers, they’ll throw in a black set for free…and a purse hook!!!  All for only $19.95 plus shipping & handling…sound familiar…

Well, let me tell you, I was thrilled to finally organize my purse and not have that sudden feeling of dread when ever I couldn’t instantly find my wallet.  The picture on their site as well as on the television, shows an organizer that has pockets to hold your check book, date book, phone, etc…Yeah, right…

My Kangaroo Keeper arrived quickly to my delight and I wasted no time tearing it open so I could finally get my purse to cooperate with my needs…UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! My high expectations were completely squashed.  I was lucky if I could fit a nail file in the slots!  Dimensions on the site would be helpful, please! Not only do I have a set in beige, but now in black as well…completely useless to my purse needs.

Way too short for any hip gal who uses a tote bag or large hand bag!  I don’t know anyone who uses a small purse these days.  I immediately called the 800 number to find that if I returned it, I would be out of even more $$$!  They offered me a $10 credit to keep it…BFD…Now deflated, I accepted.  However, I did tell the rep that China needs to know that “wider and taller is better” for the future of the Kangaroo Keeper!!! This entire advertising facade cost me:

Oh, let’s not forget the $10 credit, blah, blah, blah…So, it was $29.95!

Here’s a big shock, this “beauty/purse junkie” learned a big lesson…“If it’s too good to be true, it usually is…”
