Last night Beth and Te-see were invited to a VIP event held at The Viceroy Hotel hosted by Suave to help launch the new show on NBC, Fashion Star.

NBC's latest fashion show!
They were greeted by Jillian, then whisked into a room beautifully decorated for hair styling by Suave and Daily Candy. Nicole, Te-see’s personal stylist, gave her a menu of styles and together they picked the ‘half up side braids with beachy waves cascading down.’

NBC contacted Suave directly to ask them to partner up on the show. How could they say no…! Suave will be debuting their new range of products from the Suave Professionals line throughout the season, so keep an eye open for all the wonderful hair styles sashaying down the runway. The hook of Fashion Star, hosted by Elle Macpherson with mentors Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos, is “see it today, buy it tomorrow.” The show begins with the same structure of 14 amateur designers with big hopes and bigger personalities, it adds a twist by focusing on the business aspect of building a brand and allowing viewers to purchase the winning items each week the very next day.
The sisters had a great time and enjoyed chatting with the other VIP guests, Suave and Daily Candy reps.
Fashion Star premieres on Tuesday, March 13, at 9:30 PT/ET on NBC.

Leaving people speechless. Isn’t that the ultimate goal when glamorously hitting the town? Thanks to Sarah Uslan of Luxe Beauty Team at the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon LA, that’s exactly what Rose McGowan did. Jaws dropped as the Charmed star arrived at the Chateau Marmont to celebrate actor Charlie Chaplin.

Rose McGowan
Sarah offers up her step-by-step for creating Rose’s stunning look here, so you can leave onlookers with the same impression.
It’s In the Eyes:
“I like to start with priming the lid,” says Sarah. “I used a small amount of Laura Geller’s Eye Spackle eyeshadow primer.” Follow with MAC Indianwood Paint Pot, it makes the perfect lid color base to build this bronzy gold look. Swipe this with a cream shadow brush or your ring finger over the lower lid. Using a little bit of MAC Orange eye shadow on a crease brush, tap onto the outside corner of the lid and blend into the crease. To add the pop of intense gold, Make Up For Ever Metal Powder #1 in Sunflower Gold is perfect to press onto the ball of the lid.
Beth Bender Beauty’s Original Cat Eye Stencil paired with her Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush is the best way to create that strong cat eye. Dab brush into the black eye shadow and fill in the stencil. Finish with Bobbi Brown’s Intensifying Long-wear Mascara for long and defined lashes.
For the Brows:
Rose loves to do her own brows using Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Medium Brown.
Glowing Skin & Rosey Cheeks:
“I’m obsessed with Koh Gen Doh Aqua Foundation to create beautiful glowing skin,” Sarah raves. Bobbi Brown’s Medium Bronzing Powder with Bobbi’s Bronzer Brush will create a warm subtle contour to the skin. To achieve those pinkey cheeks, try Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Tremble.
The Lips:
Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Egerie with Bobbi Brown Bright Pink Lip Gloss will complete the look!

Is Mila Kunis not one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood today? I never watched That 70′s Show, where she got her start, but seeing Mila in magazines and movies I came to the conclusion that she is seriously stunning and I wouldn’t mind waking up tomorrow morning looking exactly like her. Long dark hair, sultry eyes…what’s not to like?

“I have always thought that Mila Kunis is one of the prettiest starlets in Hollywood!” says Sura Radcliffe of Byu-ti Salon in Santa Monica. Naturally, I agree. Do you ever wonder what you would look like on the cover of a magazine, all made up by the most talented hair and makeup artists, skin perfected thanks to photoshop and airbrushing? In case you want to play around, here’s how to get Mila’s look thanks to Sura!
Mila seemingly has a ton of hair. If you feel like your hair is not as abundant, you should speak to your stylist about the options of extensions or hair pills, such as these. Her hair color is so rich and shiny you may want to speak to your stylist about a Shades EQ Gloss as well.
Begin with clean dry hair. You will need a large barrel curling iron, 1 1/4 – 1 1/2″ and duckbill hair clips. Start with the hair at the nape.
Taking 2″ sections gently spray with Pureology Strengthening Control hair spray and wind the hair around the curling iron. While you wind the hair, twist it as well. This doesn’t have to be perfect or exact. The variation that will come helps to give the hair and entire look a more organic and sophisticated feel.
Secure the curl with a clip and continue until the entire head is done. When you get to the front section the barrel of the curling iron should be placed on the top of the hair and wound away from the face.
Remove the clips in the same order you set the hair in. As you remove the clips spray lightly with Pureology Radiance Amplifier. Once all of the hair is down you can do one of two things, leave the curls as they are or break them up by using your fingers to rake through your hair gently. Finish by spraying with Pureology Strengthening Control.

At the premiere of Silent House in New York, Elizabeth Olsen paired a soft smoky eye with a light peach blush. We love how she had a lit-from-within glow that didn’t scream obvious. Create a similar effect by using a crème or gel blush.

These hydrating formulas impart a dewy flush without moving the makeup underneath. Choose a warm shade and swirl it over the apples of your cheeks, making sure to blend out any harsh edges for the most natural finish. But keep your look balanced—the more you use on your cheeks, the lighter your eye makeup should be.

Jessica Simpson has joined the long line of celebrities baring their pregnant bellies on magazine covers. The first and most bold was Demi Moore when she graced the cover of Vanity Fair in 1991, when she was seven months pregnant with middle daughter Scout.

Demi Moore pregnant vs. Jessica Simpson on cover of Elle
Also on covers pregnant, Britney Spears for Harper’s Bazaar in 2006, and Christina Aguilera on the cover of Marie Claire in 2008. Simpson completely copied Moore on the April cover of Elle magazine, duplicating the actress’ pose with one hand covering her breasts and the other hand cradling her burgeoning belly. Simpson wears nothing but a sultry stare and a yellow sapphire ring on her middle finger posing in front of a simple gray background, just like the “About Last Night,” star did.
While the response to Moore’s cover was overwhelming at the time, the actress said it almost never happened. “The shot that ended up being on the cover wasn’t even done for the magazine,” Moore, now 49, told V magazine in 2008. “The (photographer) Annie (Leibovitz) called, we kind of joked, and I said it would be amazing if they would do this on the cover.”
It seems Simpson is equally impressed with her own pregnancy portrait. “I’m a lil nervous but I’ve never felt more beautiful or empowered,” she tweeted Wednesday about the photo’s public debut. The 31-year-old “Fashion Star” is expecting her first, a girl, and says she’s worried fiancé Eric Johnson’s football player genes will dominate.
Simpson told the magazine, “I swear, I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins! Eric is so athletic, we’re gonna have this athletic girl and I won’t even be able to take her shopping, ’cause all she’s gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!” (maybe not Jessica…)
Let us know who you think looks better pregnant on the cover…

If you want a lighter alternative to the smoky eye try multi-dimensional shades of taupe shadow like Olivia Palermo at the Rochas show in Paris. Start with a pale shade of beige shimmer on your inner eye and then apply and blend the color into a deeper brown in the crease, and toward your temple.

Then smudge a soft black pencil liner (waterproof is best) along the top lashline and underneath along lower lashline. Swipe an illuminating highlighter to your under eye area and upper cheekbone to finish off the look. The soft look pairs well with a neutral gloss and dewy cheeks but would also work with a deep burgundy sheer lip color for evening.
