Happy birthday Sheryl Crow…gorgeous and turning heads at 50!

In honor of one of our favorite female singers, Sheryl Crow who turns 50 tomorrow!! Can you believe it?! Not only a 9 time Grammy Award winner, but a mother, daughter, sister, and most importantly, breast cancer survivor. We love you Sheryl!!!!

Get Sheryl’s look from the red carpet with step by step tips courtesy of Celebrity Make-up Artist Piper Cline of the Angelo David Salon in NYC.

FACE:

1. Primer- Photo finish hydrating primer all over face will help moisturizer the skin and makeup will last all day.

2. Foundation- Camera ready full coverage foundation SPF 15 in desired shade, skin will look flawless but is not too heavy. Apply with fingertips or with a foundation brush.

3. Eye Brightener- Photo Op Eye Brightener, apply under eyes to brighten the skin. You can use your fingertips to apply.

4. Concealer- Apply Camera Ready Full Coverage Concealer in desired shade under the eyes to conceal dark circles. You can use a concealer brush or your ring finger to apply.

5. Blush- Apply O Glow Cheek Intuitive using your fingertips to the apples of the cheeks and then blend. This blush works on everyone to give a customized flush of color to the cheeks.

EYES:

1. Eye Shadow- Use Limitless 15 Hour Wear Cream Eye Shadow in topaz color onto eyelids

2. Highlight Eye Shadow- Apply Smashbox Eye Shadow in oyster color to the brow bones to create a highlight effect.

3. Eye Liner- Using a creme eye liner brush #9, apply Smashbox creme eye liner in caviar (rich black) to the top lash line, make sure to keep the line as close to the lashes as possible.

4. Mascara- Full Exposure Mascara in jet black to top and bottom lashes. Apply several coats to the top lashes.

5. Eyebrows- Fill in eyebrows using the Smashbox Brow Tech Trio and the angle brow brush #12

LIPS:

1. Lip Liner- Try the nude lip pencil in fair to line the top and bottom lip.

2. Lip Gloss- Apply a soft pink lip gloss to the lips, try Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in candid color. For extra shine, apply Smashbox reflection high shine lip gloss to the center of the lips.

Jennifer Aniston is eager to set the record straight regarding Angelina Jolie…They are not fighting…! In this March issue of InStyle magazine, Aniston nixes the never-ending rumors that she has held a grudge against Jolie for shacking up with ex-husband Brad Pitt soon after their 2005 split.

“The triangle with my ex-husband – and that there’s a feud there. It’s constant. It’s a story headline that won’t go away, but it’s a money thing,” Aniston says when asked what the press gets most wrong about her. She also shared an update on her relationship with fellow actor Justin Theroux, whom she met on the set of the upcoming “Wanderlust.” Jennifer was happy to express that it’s going strong and that she’s currently in a “joyful and peaceful” place in her life right now.

“Having experienced everything you don’t want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down to what you actually do want,” she shares.” As I get older I realize what qualities are important in love and what suits me. And what I won’t settle for.”

Aniston will turn 43 on Feb. 11. She claims that she is okay with the aging process and still feels young. However, when she sees these young new actresses popping up, she thinks that they are the same age…Unfortunately, they are not. “You lose perspective,” she says. “I don’t feel my age. I feel young every day.

At the Los Angeles premiere of The Vow, Rachel McAdams experimented with a brand new look: Thick, eyelash-grazing bangs. “They were a fun change,” hairstylist Mark Townsend told us. “We were inspired by an old Kate Moss photograph.

Rachel has done wispy bangs and side bangs. We thought a full fringe could make a fresh statement.” Townsend went on to say that because McAdams’s has an oval-shaped face, nearly any style bang would work on her. They’re also a flattering look for someone with a high forehead or a heart-shaped face.

Beauty Comes With Age States Actress Jennifer Garner

Between the ages of 13 and 30, Jennifer Garner, did a lot of growing up…And one big lesson she learned then was how to properly pace the major events of her life.

Garner, soon-to-be a mother of three, decided to open up to Britain’s The Sun about being raised by strong, confident women and how that has impacted her Hollywood life especially when it comes to love.

While in her 20s, she married Scott Foley, known for his role as Noel in TV hit Felicity, who she divorced eight years ago and found divorce a crushing experience. “I thought the divorce statistics would never apply to me. I was beyond heartbroken when they did,” Garner expressed. Following her divorce from Foley, Garner, now 39, started dating Ben Affleck. In 2005 they wed.

According to Garner, “Ben is not only my husband, he has helped me in every way. He is the base of my life. He is an incredibly loving and generous man. I expected he would be a great dad and he is. The couple has two daughters Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3, with a third child on the way.

Jennifer exclaimed that another perk of getting older was becoming more confident. “I have figured so much more out about life and feel the older women get, the more beautiful they get. We become ourselves which is something you can’t teach anyone at 18.”

Amen…Jennifer is so right on! Look around you and watch older women and how they carry themselves and conduct their lives…It’s quite educational:)!

Madonna’s Performance at Superbowl 2012 Has Everyone Talking!

This years Superbowl was all about the ‘material girl’ in her ‘material world‘ by Givenchy! Even M.I.A. flipping off 110 million plus viewers, couldn’t upstage Madonna during the halftime show last night. This may not have been any man’s dream of the perfect halftime show, but who could resist those fabulous costume changes…

Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy haute couture, designed all three looks worn by The Diva, starting with a gold cape she wore when she emerged on her gilded throne looking like Cleopatra. It was encrusted with sequins, studs, paillettes, and lined in leopard chiffon, and she dropped it to reveal a gladiator-esque fringed leather dress, worn with super long gloves and thigh-high boots. Her crown designed by Phillip Treacy, came off for her major ass shaking moves.

“Like A Prayer,” the last part of her performance, she wore a flowing coat covered in black sequins and pearls, with a wide belt cinching the waist that only Madonna’s tiny frame could pull off!

Her performance had a mixed reaction. Many people thought she’s a bit too old to be flaunting around the way she does. Some said she still sounded great. What are your thoughts?

Get Lisa Marie Presley’s smoky eye birthday look from Graceland

Lisa Marie Presley celebrated her birthday today at Graceland to launch the new “Elvis…Through His Daughter’s Eyes” Exhibit.

Get The Look with M.A.C Cosmetics courtesy of Stacey Ellis of Byu-Ti Salon, Santa Monica.

Face: Apply Mineralize Cream Foundation, with a sponge, spread evenly over face. Set the foundation with Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder, on a large powder brush.

Dust a little color on the cheeks with Powder Blush color, Fleur Power. Apply to cheek and sweep back to the ear.

Eyes: To create this warm smoky eye, start with the lightest eye color, Mylar, apply to the inside corner of the eye and under the brow.

Apply the warm brown color, Bronze, from the outer corner across the lid and blend up into the crease of the eye. Run this color under the eye and smudge a little to get this smoky effect.

Line the eye with Technakohl Liner in Graphblack. Apply a thick line along the top lash line and run the liner along the inside lower lash line. Create full lashes with two coats of False Lashes Mascara.

Lips: With the smoky eye keep the lips glossy and nude with Tinted Lipglass, try the color, Nymphette.

Beauty Style Watch: Best and Worst Dressed Celebrities at SAG Awards

There were a lot of well dressed celebrities this year at the SAG Awards…And, just a few “What were they thinking.” So, BSW is going to hit you with our top picks for The Worst Dressed for 2012 SAG Awards first! Drum roll please…

#1 Now let me start out by saying, The Bender Sisters have met Busy Philipps several times and absolutely LOVE HER…But what the heck was she thinking when she pulled this off the hanger…? It would have been perfect for a beach party at Malibu but not for an award ceremony! And to make this outfit even worse, the blue color of her sandals don’t even match the blue in her dress. We’re also surprised she didn’t trip down the Red Carpet from the length of her schmatta...

#2 Another gal we LOVE…Zoe Saldana…She has a wonderful figure hidden by this very white gown? It looks more like an ‘Indian Sari’…All she needs is the red dot in the middle of her forehead to represent her “third eye.” We hope she realized that this dress is not a good look for her…or that maybe she needs to fire her personal stylist/dresser…

BSW never gets tired of looking at this hot couple! They are to be commended for all they do for others who are less fortunate! Truly a gracious couple from head to toe!

BSW just adores this sassy young actress…Emma Stone sporting a flashy Alexander McQueen dress with Tiffany & Co. jewels. She picked the perfect hair style and simple jewelry to compliment her look on The Red Carpet. Bravo, girlie!

Hard to believe this is the same woman who gave a heart wrenching performance in “The Help.” Viola Davis absolutely glowed in her Marchesa gown as she accepted the award for Outstanding Female Actress. Her entire ensemble including her hair just looks fantastic!

Kyra Sedgwick, like The Bender Sisters, defies her age in a sultry cut-out Pucci dress. She always knows what to wear on The Red Carpet and never disappoints us. She even showed off a tribute to her family…her tattoo:)

Ashlee Simpson 2012 SAG Awards–Get The Look With MAC Cosmetics and Stacey Ellis of Byu-ti Salon

Face: Studio Tech Foundation is perfect for building and blending to even out your skin tone. Dust over Select Sheer Loose Powder to create a matte finish.

Just a hint of natural looking cheek color using Powder Blush, Pinch Me. Apply to brush then shake off before dusting from cheek to ear.

Eyes: Get this metallic eye using Metal-X Cream Shadow. Start with the lightest color, Fusion Gold, under the brow and inside corner of eye. Apply the rich, warm color,Rusty Peach to the crease of the eye and blend the two tones together with a mid-tone, Gold Carbon. This shade can go under the eye also.

Apply Fluidline Gel Liner, Blitz & Glitz, along the top lash line using a fine, firm brush. Apply lightly to the bottom lash line.

Plump the lashes with black Mascara X. Add some flair to the top lashes with 20 Lash. This is a Half Lash applied with tweezers and Duo Eyelash Glue.

Lips: first line the lips with Cremestick Liner in the color,Sublime Culture, then finish with Sheen Supreme Lipstick color, Supreme Style, for a naturally enhanced lip.

Get the look–Dianna Agron’s hair at the 2012 SAG Awards

I love Dianna Agron’s upswept hair here! Read on to learn how to get the look…

INSPIRATION: celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel wanted to create a romantic up-do to mimic the movement of Dianna’s dress.

How To Get the Look: Adir began by applying Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream from the roots to the ends of the wet hair to create texture. He then rough-dried the hair with his hands. After the hair was completely dry, he sprayed Fekkai Oceanique Tousled Waved Spray throughout the hair, and rough dried it through once more. To begin the up-do Adir took a section of the hair from the top of the left ear and created a long fishtail braid.

He then wrapped that braid around the front of the head like a crown, leaving the hair underneath loose and undone. Adir then took the rest of the hair and created three more fishtail braids, ultimately twisting them together in the back of the head and securing them with hairpins. To hold the look Adir sprayed Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray .
