Spring really is in the air and to prove it, check out these gorgeous eyes in shades of lilac and  pale pink shimmers. What a refreshing alternative to the dark smoky eyes we have been seeing so much of.

Get look with ease by applying a lilac shimmer into the crease, and blending with a pale pink shimmer shadow on the lids. Sweep under the eyes as well  using the lilac shadow. Use a touch of the  pale pink shimmer to highlight the brown bone or leave as is. Try the Spring Palette from Get in Line in OMG! in, lilac, plum, and pale pink shimmer.

Line the eyes with a gel eyeliner, and apply along the lashline. Try Onyx Stay Put Gel Liner, $18, and available at beth bender beauty. You can add a soft line underneath and smudge for a softer line.

FINISH the look by applying a tinted moisturizer to even out the skin before giving your cheeks a healthy glow with Desert Rose Powder Blush from bobbibrown.com. New York Fashion Week 2010

Dashing Diva’s head nail tech Pattie Yankee and her team have been busy with manicures at Fashion Week with some Fall nail trends from the Brian Reyes, Nary Manivong and Trias shows, and all equally fabulous!

Stylist Ally Hilfiger and designer Nary Manivong collaborated with Pattie Yankee to create an ultra sleek and modern oval nail painted in a shinny, nude metallic from Dashing Diva’s Fall 2010 collection. We love the color, and the name!

The designer wanted a subtle grey/brown shade for the nails to go with the natural earthy theme of the show.  So, Pattie Yankee mixed the grey Astor Place with the taupe West Village to create a hot mushroom Shitake shade.

Dashing Diva’s head nail tech Pattie Yankee and her team had a busy Valentine’s Day weekend backstage at New York’s Fashion Week making sure everyone’s nails looked fabulous. Starting with Magalis Garcia, and finishing the weekend with Caroline Seikaly.

Up and coming designer, Magalis Garcia, chose the light grey polish Astor Place for manicures to accent the bright pinks and purples in the collection.

Dashing Diva’s team was backstage at Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief show to benefit Haiti.  Styled by renown stylist Rachel Zoe, the nails were painted a crisp, bright white shimmer shade with Diamond District which really popped on the runway.

Designer, Georges Chakra, wanted to create a “dried blood” look for the nails so he went with Dashing Diva’s Central Park After Dark polish, a deep plum burgundy that matched the lipstick perfectly.

Designer, Abigail Lorick, chose a bright neon orange polish to accent the blues, greens and browns in the collection.  The nail popped off the stage!

Designer Caroline Seikaly wanted to create a vampy, twilight-esq nail look for both feet and hands to compliment the deep burgundies and reds in her collections. Pattie Yankee used two coats of polish to create the look, the first being Limo Service (dark black) and the second Jet Set, a shiny burgundy, deep red.
