‘Wanderlust’ star Jennifer Aniston on sexiness, BFF Paul Rudd, and being in her 40s

The first time Jennifer Aniston starred onscreen opposite Paul Rudd was in “The Object of My Affection,” when she played a pregnant single New Yorker and he was her gay BFF. That was 14 years ago. Now, as she squashes rumors of a bambino bump, courtesy of boyfriend Justin Theroux, saying “I’m not having triplets. Not having twins. Nor am I having one baby”, the ever-easy-on-the-eyes stars reunite for “Wanderlust,” opening Feb. 24. They play a Type-A couple who trade Manhattan for a commune.
On allure: “Being sexy can mean a lot of different things: It’s not just about being a physical bombshell.”
On being forty-something: “Whatever angst-y times I have had came after fame, which we know was after 22. When I was 22, I was having a ball. Being this side of 40 feels like what I should have felt being this side of 25 in my body, in my heart, happy with my life, and OK with whatever bumps in the road present themselves.”
On relationships: “It’s a growing, literally living thing. There’s going to be growing pains, there’s going to be awkward moments — your lanky phase, your pimpled phase.”
