Jessica Biel turns 29!  Get her makeup look with step by step tips from makeup artist Piper Cline of Angelo David Salon and Smashbox Cosmetics.

1) Piper started applying  Smashbox’s Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer using Smashbox’s foundation brush #13

2) To give that sunkissed glow around the apple of the cheeks, she used Smashbox’s Blush Rush in chiffon with the Smashbox Fan brush #22

3) With  Smashbox’s Face and Cheek Brush #2, she finished the look using Smashbox’s Baked Fusion Soft Lights in Baked Stardust

Eyes

1) To help make up stay all day, Piper first applied Smashbox’s Photo Finish Lid Primer. For the eyelids, a golden copper shade from Smashbox’s Eye Shadow in ambient color works well with Jessica’s eyes.

2) Applying Smashbox’s Eye Shadow in Torch Color along the lash lines and creases will give more definition to the look

3)  Piper then layered Smashbox’s cream Eyeliner in Lava Color in the center of the lids, to help reflect light.

4) To create the subtle cat-eye, Piper used Smashbox’s Limitless Waterproof Liquid Liner Pen in black then finishing the look with Smashbox’s Hyperlash Mascara in Blackout

Lips

1) To keep Jessica’s silky matte finish, Piper filled the lips with Smashbox’s Be Legendary Lipstick in rosy pink color.

2) She finished the look by adding a touch of shine using Smashbox’s Reflection High Shine Lip Gloss.

Adriana Lima’s eyes got our attention at the kick off of the Victoria’s Secret Angels Very Sexy Jet tour.  Her eyes look amazing and here is why:

If the idea of wearing bold color on your eyelids makes you pause, check out Ginnifer Goodwin at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. We love the swipe of pale mint shimmer that starts heavily in her inner eye and covers her entire lid.

“The key to making this look work is to concentrate on the lower lid”, says celebrity makeup artist Beth Bender.  Highlight the brow bone with a bisque matte shadow. Goodwin also illuminated her undereye by gliding a highlighter beneath and adding a few false lashes on the outer part of eye.

This made the entire eye a statement. Take your cue from Goodwin and play down the rest of your makeup when your eyes are this bright.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck will finally be able to add a little testosterone to their household, the happy Hollywood couple announced Tuesday.

Garner and Affleck, both 39, welcomed baby number three, a baby boy, in Santa Monica, Calif., a source confirmed to People.

The couple, who announced that they were expecting last August, already have two young daughters together – Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3.

It’ll be a new experience for the two parents, who have become accustomed to rearing their little girls, but one that they welcome with open arms.

Garner, who had previously said that she wanted a third daughter, told Jay Leno in January that Affleck was probably hoping for a boy – but could be swayed.

“I would have thought so. At first I think I really thought so,” she said when asked whether Affleck wanted a son. “And then he kind of said, ‘Well, we have girls. We know how to do girls. My girls love me. I’m the big guy in the house.’ So, now I’m not sure.”

Even Garner admitted that “it would be so weird to have a boy,” during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. But, the “Alias” actress reasoned, it would definitely be “cool and different.”

At least the girls are already excited about the prospect of a younger sibling.

“Our girls are working on names,” Garner told Leno in January. “At first they were definitely Disney. It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck.

“And then they’ve moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee.”

“I prepped Rashida’s skin by applying mark Primed for Perfection Face Primer all over. Then, I buffed on mark Min-A-Real Cream-to-Powder Foundation to create an even base. Next, I spot-checked any imperfections with mark Save The Day Anti-Acne Concealer Stick and mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation.”

Cheeks:

“For Rashida’s cheeks, I applied mark All the Highlights Soft Glow Illuminator and mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Cheeky for a rosy glow.”

The always hot Emma Stone stole the show with her hilarious presenter skit, stunning Giambattista Valli gown, and flawless hair and makeup. Here’s a look at how to get The Help star’s gorgeous look.

Makeup: “It’s glamorous, sophisticated, and lighthearted—it’s her,” said makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, who created Stone’s pretty in pink look for Oscar night. First, she applied Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup to Stone’s skin, then dabbed Revlon Lip Butter (yes, a lip balm!) in Cotton Candy on her cheeks to give them a pink sheen. She used her fingers to blend a berry gloss onto her lips for a stained effect.

To make the star’s green eyes really pop, Goodwin swept a soft pale pink shadow up to the brow bone, traced black liquid liner along her lash line, and applied a strip of false lashes followed by two coats of black mascara. She finished with St. Tropez lluminator in Rose (a shimmery pink highlighter) on Stone’s arms, décolletage, and neck. “I just spread it on like a lotion,” said Goodwin. “It really tied the whole thing together.”

Hair: Hairstylist Mara Roszak had the challenge of working around the gigantic red bow on Stone’s gown. Her solution: an updo that was super-sleek in the front with a pretty twist in back. She blow-dried Stone’s hair and smoothed Couture Color Pequi Oil Finishing Polish over the top for extra shine. Then, she pulled all of her hair into a mid-height ponytail and divided it into two sections, which she roped together. Roszak wrapped the twisted tail into a chignon, secured it with bobby pins, and finished with L’Oréal Elnett Extra Strong Hold Hairspray. Stone took one look at the style and “was so happy,” Roszak said. “It’s the best moment—they feel so good when they walk out the door.”

The votes are in and we’ve got the awards for the best hair and makeup of this year’s Oscars. From bold bangs to the prettiest pink lips, these are our top six beauty looks of the night.  Drum roll please………and the winners are….

Best overall: Gwyneth Paltrow. It may have been her dramatic white cape that first caught our attention, but it was Paltrow’s simple and stunning hair and makeup that earned her top honors. The Oscar winner’s sleek low ponytail, sun-kissed skin, and tiny twinkling studs (such a refreshing twist to the typical dripping-with-diamonds red carpet look) all came together perfectly.

Best risk-taker: Viola Davis. The emerald green shadow paired beautifully with her Vera Wang gown; her rich reddish crop (hubby Julius Tennon encouraged her to wear her hair natural!) was a breath of fresh air among the updos, wigs and extensions that typically steal the show. P.S.: The best actress nominee’s skin is stunning—we want whatever skincare she’s using like yesterday.

Best effortless hair: Jessica Chastain. A half-up, half-down hairstyle has the potential to look, well, really, really bad (think maid of honor hair). But Chastain’s stylist beat the odds. With a center part, tousled texture, and just the right amount of volume at the crown, it framed her face exquisitely.

Prettiest lips: Michelle Williams. Instead of matching her lips to her coral Vuitton dress, Williams went for a bright pink shade that was modern and totally sweet. The pop of color highlighted her porcelain skin and the glossy finish added a youthful effect to the best actress nominee’s look.

Just plain hot: Angelina Jolie. A dizzyingly high leg slit, glossy red lips, bombshell waves—the always-sexy star knows how to wow. She. Is. Smoking. And, yes, we are most definitely speed-dialing our stylist to get that that gorgeous golden brown hair color she debuted on the red carpet.

Most striking: Rooney Mara. Skipping her usual all-black attire, she turned heads with an unexpected pearl-colored Givenchy mermaid gown. But it was the bold statement above her neck that caught our eye: crazy-shiny raven hair, matte red lips and majorly fierce brows.

Well, we don’t know about you, but our favorite part of the evening is always the Red Carpet line up!  We love watching the female celebs checking each other out.  This year the gowns were spectacular and the hair was well groomed.  We only had a few “what were they thinking.”

All we can say is motherhood must agree with Miss Penelope because she never looked more beautiful!  We loved the cut of her dress and the color was magical against her olive complexion!  BRAVO to Armani for designing her the perfect gown!

Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen

BSW fashionistas loved Jessica’s Alexander McQueen gown, unlike a few other fashion forward professionals.  Jessica could wear a paper bag and look gorgeous!  We thought the gold and black intricate design was different and complimented her pearly white skin and long reddish locks.

Okay folks…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Angelina and her Versace gown waist up only!  Not crazy about the huge slit going up to her crotch.  And what was with the pose at the podium?  Very James Bond we guess…?  Either way, her face was stunning and her makeup and hair were flawless.  Brad can’t help himself but take a back seat to her but he seems to be quite content with his position.  This couple is just breath taking in more ways then one!

George Clooney in a Giorgio Armani Tux and Stacy Keibler in Marchesa gown

This second couple hit the Red Carpet in style.  Mr. Clooney looked handsome as usual in his Giorgio Armani Tuxedo.  His significant other, Stacy Keibler dressed in a liquid gold one shoulder Marchesa gown, looked like the statue of liberty standing next to George.  All she needed was a “torch!”  Not quite sure why she is referred to as “gorgeous.”  Miss Keibler does not quite make our best dressed/gorgeous list.  She just happens to be associated with Clooney, for now…

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton

We aren’t sure about this Louis Vuitton gown Michelle was wearing.  Great color for her but that little bow on the side of her waist needs to go!  It almost looks like a bikini top attached to a gown.  Not a great design…sorry:(  Michelle gets the bsw thumbs down…

Kristen Wiig in J. Mendel

Can’t quite say we love or hate this gown by J. Mendel that Kristen is wearing.  We do however, HATE the color!   Nude is not a good choice for her.  Makes her blend into her gown and all that tulle is a bit much.  Sorry Kristen…BSW gives you the thumbs down.

Sandra Bullock in Marchesa

Sandra looked gorgeous with her hair pulled back in a high pony tail wearing a gown by Marchesa.  We loved the way her gown swooped in the back revealing her skin.  Sexy and classy all in one!

Another awards season is over…Wonder what next year will bring…Hopefully, more color and class!
