Host a Luncheon in Honor of
“MY WEEK WITH MARILYN”
And the Bender Sisters were there in the thick of it, surrounded by celebrities old and young enjoying the exceptional day and the beautiful Michelle Williams, star of “My Week With Marilyn”.

The film stars Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branagh and documents the brief period filmmaker Colin Clark spent with Marilyn Monroe during the filming of The Prince and the Showgirl in England during the late 1950s.
The luncheon at Cecconi’s West Hollywood was attended and honored by many of the founding members of The Actors Studio and those who shared the screen with Marilyn Monroe in her heyday. What a crowd it was! We had a blast and got to speak to so many of the guests who attended including Sean Young, who looked beautiful and got a big BSW thumbs up!

The sisters spent some face time with celebrity hair stylist, and the only woman they trust their locks to, Natasha Sunshine of Byu-ti Salon, Santa Monica, who also happened to put the amazing gift bag together.

What can we say about Michelle that hasn’t been said already. She was the perfect celebrity guest, always smiling, happy to engage in conversation, and simply glowing from head to toe. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch, mingled through the crowd some more, and dashed out just in time to make our next appointment.
Only in Hollywood folks!

If a smoky eye in inky black is too severe for you, why not try to create the look in a color. Mila Kunis got it right with a smoldering shade of plum at St. Jude’s 50th anniversary gala in Beverly Hills. The look worked especially well with her deep purple lace dress.

Celebrity makeup pro Beth Bender says to get the look, start with a silvery layer of lavender dabbed along the top and bottom lashlines. Then top it off with the darker tone of shadow and a waterproof liner over the water line.
Try a smoky gray eye with a platinum dress or a matching navy eye and gown on your next big night.
