The ongoing marriage saga between Katy Perry and Russell Brand comes just in time for the holidays.  The pair reportedly “had a HUGE fight” just before Christmas, a source told BSW.  It was reported: “She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’  And Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too.’ ”

Perry, initially had plans of taking her family for a trip to visit Brand’s London hometown, but after the big blowup, the pop star opted to jet to Hawaii with friends instead.  Meanwhile, Brand, spent the Christmas holiday at a Cornwall pub before heading to friend David Baddiel’s charity swim.

“They haven’t split up just yet, but things are not good,” our source said. “The fighting is getting worse.”  One of the main reasons Perry and Brand may be at odds as of late comes down to family.  “Katy doesn’t think Russell respects her parents’ Christian beliefs or her friends,” another source added.

Rumors of an impending split are nothing new for this couple, who have had to fight off tabloid reports of divorce and pregnancy since they first married in October 2010.  “There is always rumors, aren’t there?”  Brand asked Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show earlier this month.  “In the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology, which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy … I’ve treated the whole Internet now like it’s a wicked little liar … I am really happily married.”

Well, Russell…being a well known actor married to a well known pop star brings this sort of chaos and false info in the rag magazines…Chin up ole’ chap!  Hopefully, love will prevail!
