Kim Kardashian’s short lived marriage is probably over, but her wedding dress may be here to stay.

The infamous Vera Wang dress

This past September, designer Vera Wang revealed she would add two dresses to her White by Vera Wang collection for David’s Bridal that were inspired by the one-of-a-kind dresses she designed for Kardashian when she tied the knot to basketball star Kris Humphries.  Wang had told E! News she would create a more affordable version of the tulle ballgown she created for Kardashian as well as the ruffled mermaid dress she wore at the reception.  Both copies are set to hit David’s Bridal in February for around $1,500 each.

Then on Halloween, the reality star told Ryan Seacrest she had filed for divorce only 72 days after the couple tied the knot.  So the big BSW fashionista question is…will Vera Wang go forward with her Kim Kardashian-themed wedding dresses, now that they no longer symbolize love everlasting?  A spokesperson for Vera Wang told the Daily News that the company “wasn’t commenting right now” but suggested asking again in a few weeks.  (Well, that’s not an answer…the brides to be are already lining up to get the dresses as soon as they hit the racks in Feb.)

Brian Beitler, the executive VP of David’s Bridal didn’t comment via email on the Kardashian dresses in particular, but did say the following:  “The entire White by Vera Wang Spring 2012 collection will be available exclusively at David’s Bridal stores next season.”

Since the announcement, many have called the marriage a sham and a publicity stunt. The couple reportedly collected $10 million for their wedding, which broke down to about $139,000 a day.

On Tuesday, Kardashian took to her blog to defend her decision.  (BSW wants to know why she just didn’t do a public announcement to defend herself!  Her mother Kris has no problem doing that)

Kim wrote a bunch of crap that went like this:  “First and foremost, I married for love.  Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! …I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show, that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.”

Blah, blah, blah…What evah sista…Move on and get a life!  We just want the dresses!
