Accompanied by the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Denmark, William and Kate, both 29, will view efforts at the center to distribute emergency food and medical supplies to East Africa, where over 13 million people are suffering from a sever food shortage.

Together, the British and Danish royals hope to raise awareness for the heartbreaking, mounting crisis in East Africa, where 320,000 children are currently suffering from severe, acute malnutrition and face death without immediate help.

“Right now, UNICEF, along with many other partners, is working tirelessly to ensure that children’s lives can be saved across East Africa. Every day children are being given food and water thanks to the huge generosity of the public all around the world, ” Elhadj As Sy, UNICEF’s Regional Chief of Eastern and Southern Africa said.

This royal couple has really made a difference around the world!  A great example of what people in power can do if they really want to…
