SMOKY METALLIC EYES

Smoldering smoky eyes in metallics

A little metallic shadow is sometimes all it takes for eyes to go from smoky to smoldering.  Case in point, at the Roberto Cavalli show models were adorned in the most smoldering, smoky, ‘I dare you to look away eyes’ that we have ever seen.

Weeks later and we are still talking about them, cause’ that’s how outstanding they were!  To create your own version of these beauties we asked our own makeup pro, Beth Bender to give us her best tips.

First rim the eyes with a black liner.  I love the new Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Pencils, they stay on for hours and the colors look amazing.

Next, brush a dark brown matte shadow into the crease and under the eyes too. I like to use a blender brush and with a windshield wiper motion go back and forth from the outer eye crease to the middle making sure to blend really well.

Finish by sweeping a copper/bronze shade with a hint of shimmer directly onto the eyelid area and underneath from the inner eye to the center of eye as seen here in this picture. Check out beth bender beauty’s Beautiful Browns Smoky Eye Quad, or the SGB Smoky Eyeshadow Kit to make eyes pop—and hearts stop.

Beth’s Beauty tip: Make sure you blend the copper/bronze shadow into the dark brown so that there are no hard lines between the two colors and the eyes look flawless.
