Makeup artist, Matin Maulawizada created Liz Tyler’s “sexy and sweet” makeup look for the 2011 New York City Ballet Fall Gala.

Matin Maulawizada, Global Artistry Director and Brand Ambassador for Laura Mercier, explains how he created the star’s makeup look that added a feminine sweetness to the actress’ sexy and sophisticated gown.
Eyes:
Because pure black liner could look harsh against Liv’s fair skin and light eyes, Matin lightly defined her eyes with Laura Mercier’s Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Gold, $19.
He then subtly enhanced the eyes using Laura Mercier Metallic Crème Eye Colour in Rose Gold, $22.
Lips:
Laura Mercier’s Gel Lip Colour in Dollface brought a fun and youthful pop of color to Liv’s face. “Liv loved the Laura Mercier Gel Lip Colour,” said Matin.

To ensure Liv’s look lasted in the unexpectedly humid New York City weather, Matin prepped her skin using Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, $30
