Only five weeks after giving birth to Penelope Athena, her second daughter with husband Jeff Richmond, a glowing Tina Fey was at the Emmy Awards at L.A.’s Staples Center last night.

Fey skipped the red carpet this year but debuted her fabulous post-baby bod on the Emmys stage along with her five other nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy. The winner was Melissa McCarthy, but it was funny to hear Fey, 30 Rock star, announce “Mommy’s big night out almost happened.” Fey told BSW that she almost couldn’t get it together for the Emmy’s. However, she did do it…YAY!
Composer hubby Richmond, stayed behind in NYC to watch the girls and hired a babysitter too just in case back up was needed, Fey told us. Her second daughter Penelope was born on August 10, and big sister Alice is 5 and very helpful.
Fey’s costar Jane Krakowski, who welcomed son Bennett back in April, also showed off her amazing figure wearing a J. Mendel Mica gown.
