At the FOX All-Star party, BSW really loved Lea Michele‘s hair — she looked like cool, carefree, and like she just got off the beach! Her hairstylist, Mark Townsend told BSW how he created the look.

“I wanted Lea’s hair to be fun and sexy, just like her,” Townsend said . “The dress had a great silhouette reminiscent of ’70s glamour so I wanted her hair to look like she had spent the night on the dance floor.”
He started by applying a few drops of Dove Nourishing Oil Serum in damp hair, then added a large dollop of Dove Body and Lift Mousse before blow drying sections with a large round brush. Next, he took three inch sections of hair and spritzed them with Dove Flexible Hold Hairspray. Then he wrapped sections around a 1-inch curling iron, leaving the bottom two inches out of the iron so they would be a bit straighter. To give the hair that cool, edgy, lived-in texture, he sprayed in Oribe Dry Texture spray and scrunched hair with his hands.
