Elizabeth Banks At The Los Angeles Premiere of My Idiot Brother
To achieve this kind of dramatic and classic peek-a-boo hairstyle a la Veronica Lake you will need the following tools:
Leave-In conditioner, Round brush, hot rollers and hairspray.
1. Begin by spraying in a light leave-in conditioner like Pureology’s Miracle Filler to wet or damp hair.
2. Blowdry hair under to completely dry using a large round brush like, Ibiza’s large blonde boar brush (www.ibizahair.com).
3. Using hot rollers, spray each section with Pureology’s StrengtheningControl hairspray before rolling. You’ll need four medium-sized rollers.
4. Place first two rollers in a mohawk pattern at the middle of the front hairline and roll them back. Sections should be the same size as roller.
5. Place remaining two rollers horizontally above each ear. Pull section forward and roll back.
6. Let rollers cool for ten minutes then brush through the set. The hair should fall into beautiful 40′s waves.
7. Finish with a final spray of Strenghtening Control Hairspray.
