Lauren Conrad’s cat eyeliner has become a signature look for her, on and off the red carpet. Perfecting the look over the years with the help of her makeup artist, and the Get in Line Eyeliner and Stencil Kit from beth bender beauty. The star gets it just right by creating the shape first with a cat eye stencil, followed by a liquid eyeliner.
Take a look at her eyeliner at the Us Weekly party in Hollywood. Makeup artist Beth Bender says “using a cat eye stencil removes the guess work, and creates the desired shape in seconds.” To set your liner go over with either a gel eyeliner or liquid. “Point the tip of the stencil slightly upward for an elongated winged-out effect” says Bender.

“The higher you place the eyeliner stencil, the thicker the line, so start with it closer to the eyelid, then gradually higher until you achieve the perfect thickness.” says Bender. To complete the look, finish with two coats of black mascara, and if you feel the need, add a few individual lashes to the outer corners to compliment the winged effect.
