The Bender Sister’s Get Spoiled At The Too Faced Cosmetics Beauty Event

This week, the Bender Sister’s along with some of LA’s top online Beauty Editor’s, were invited to the Too Faced Cosmetics Head Quarters in Irvine, California, for a first look at their new products for Summer 2011. We were greeted by Kalina, Global Director of Artistry/Miracle Worker, pink champagne and cupcakes before sitting down for a preview, and demo with Kalina and the girls. Products were displayed beautifully along the length of the table and passed around for everyone to try…We thought we had died and gone to beauty heaven!

For anyone who loves beauty and products as much as we do, you can imagine how happy we were to be surrounded by all of these fabulous products. Yay! It was like “Willy Wonka and The Makeup Factory” for the sister’s, and we loved everything we laid our eyes on! From the extremely fat wand of Size Queen Mascara, Te-see’s absolute favorite, to the Retractable Bronze-buki Brush, Beth’s favorite! And let’s not forget the Bronzed & the Beautiful Bronzing Collection that smelled like chocolate…

The attention that goes into each and every Too Faced product became very clear after meeting Jerrod Blandino and his team of experts. From the highest quality of their products, to the packaging, art work, fonts, colors, and names of each, it was easy to see how anyone could quickly become a loyal fan.

Jerrod told us the story behind the name…when I worked behind the makeup counters, clients would come in and complain if their favorite lipstick color was out…and we would say, “don’t be too faced…think about the starving children in Africa!” We got a kick out of that story…:) The afternoon flew by and the sister’s learned a lot about “Too Faced” cosmetics and how this small but very tight business makes a huge name for itself amongst the other leading brands!
