An Easy Trick for Pulling off Cat Eyeliner Like Kate Moss

Posted by The Girls in the BSW Beauty Dept. on March 18th, 2011

Super Model Kate Moss turned up at the launch of The W Hotel in London with her signature sultry winged eyeliner. Ever since nabbing a Get in Line Eyeliner & Stencil Kit years ago at a Stella McCartney fashion show, she counts on the kit to give her perfect cat eyes. So, what was different about her eyes here? Well for one thing, instead of doing a more defined line, which is her usual look, she smudged the line after applying to create a lived-in feel.

Next time you try the look with, or without an eyeliner stencil, create the desired shape and thickness first, before softening and smudging the line. Make sure to hold your eyeliner stencil up and out towards the tail of your eyebrow for the  winged effect. For best results use a powder eyeshadow to create the shape, and then line along the top and bottom lashline with an eyeliner pencil before smudging.

Voila! Super sexy cat eyeliner Ala Kate Moss.

Check out the Original Get in Line Eyeliner & Stencil Kit, $36, and benefit’s Waterproof BADgal liner in black, $20.
