Scarlett Johansson: Best Eye Shadow

BSW INSIDE SCOOP: Scarlett’s look was very young and fresh,” says celebrity makeup artist Beth Bender. To create this Oscar look, four colors of eye shadow were used. A light gold, and copper were applied to the eyelid and up into the crease, and a blue black shadow was applied along the lids. For an extra pop the rim of her eyes were lined with both gold and black eyeliner for a glittery, dimensional look.

The rest of Scarlett’s face was left neutral so that the focus was on the eyes, and her makeup was not overdone. To create a similar look on yourself try the SGB Smoky Eye Palette, and Black Cat Eye Dust both from beth bender beauty.

Halle Berry: Best Skin & Super, Sexy Smoky Eyes

BSW INSIDE SCOOP: Halle Berry’s glowy café au lait skin was the perfect canvas to her glittery nude gown. Three shades of foundation were used to get the perfect shade and create the star’s warm glow. To balance out her smoky eye and still keep her looking healthy and fresh, a soft peach blush with a nice pop of color was applied to Halle’s cheeks, and thus her beautiful red carpet look.
To create a similar look on yourself, check out the new HD Liquid Foundations, and Grinding Powders from NYX Cosmetics in American Girl and Terra Cotta. They are fabulous, and give you the most beautiful color on your face and cheeks. For your sexy smoky eyes may we suggest the Beautiful Browns Smoky Eye Quad from beth bender beauty.
