Its really, really hard to find great natural cosmetics. There are a lot of body care products like lotions and scrubs that are wonderful but not a lot of companies can take on the feat of making cosmetics.  I wouldn’t know where to  begin.  While snooping around online, I found this company, 100% Pure and the products looked promising. I read through the site and scanned the ingredients. Very pure indeed! Nothing weird or chemical there.

I got the chance to test and review some products from 100% Pure and I’m so excited to share my review with you!

I tested their Fruit Pigmented Concealer which has an spf of 20. This product is natural, vegetarian, its even gluten free. It contains vitamin and minerals plus anti-oxidants. But how does it work? I put it to the test covering up a ridiculous pimple on my forehead and trying to decrease the look of under eye circles. This product did not sink into fine lines and did a great job of covering up the areas I needed to hide.

100% Pure Tinted Moisturizer also offers a bit of sun protection with an spf 20. This product is “Tinted with natural fruit and vegetable pigments to give your complexion a flawless appearance while feeding your skin with nourishing white tea, acai oil, pomegranate oil and vitamins.”

It provides a  bit of moisture but thank goodness it doesn’t make my oily face greasier. The color-white peach- makes my skin look more luminous, as if I have a naturally healthy glow.

I have been using the 100% Pure Mascara every day. It smells a little like berries which I enjoy. I imagine its made from something like crushed blackberries (I think thats one of the ingredients). I had somewhat low expectations thinking a natural mascara would not thicken my lashes enough to satisfy my high standards but it does! It works, I mean it coats every lash and gives me the thick, long lashes of my dreams.

It washes off easily, just a warm wash cloth and some (natural) cleanser.

I’ve been using the Red Wine Revesatrol Cream, a moisturizing cream that makes my skin super soft and smooth after I apply it. ” Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant that makes red wine so anti-aging. contains as much resveratrol 15,000 glasses of red wine in each tube.”  I’m really hooked on this product, using it at night after I wash my face.

In the morning, I almost always wake up with puffy eyes. Allergies? Old age? I don’t know but it takes hours for the swelling  to go away unless I use the Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream. Talk about  needing my morning coffee! This instantly reduces the puffiness around my eyes and gives the whole area a surge of hydration. A little bit is all I need. This product offers several benefits like decrease in under eye circles, reduction of puffiness, decrease in lines and wrinkles and more.

I am thrilled with this line of products and am dying to try the foundation, cheek tint, lip gloss… and everything else.  The prices are quite reasonable and I love all the natural ingredients used. Take a look for yourself here!

After chatting with Mindy Weiss, the girls headed over to Dr. Debra Luftman…Te-see has met her many times and is quite fond of her.  Dr. Luftman (also a spokesperson for Dove), advises her patients who are getting married to get on a good skin regime at least 6 weeks before their wedding since stress levels rise and cause break outs.  She suggests using a glycolic acid cleanser (to gently exfoliate the skin), wear sunblock while running around and to book an appointment to see your dermatologist if you are having break outs to treat them early and avoid any scarring.
