Black eyeliner doesn’t always have to be smudgy and smoldering. In fact it can be strong and very girl-next-door too. Check out the look on Nicole Richie who has made tight eyeliner, and cat eyeliner a hot Hollywood trend that we can’t get enough of.
And a closer look:
The line is quite precise, and applied thick using a black liner on her upper lashline only.
The color is pretty intense which mean she either used a liquid, gel, or eyeshadow followed by an eyeliner sealant which intensifies the color (try the cat eyeshadow stencil and black shadow from Get in Line) . The line itself is very clean and the color is applied almost into the lash bed. Nicole usually likes to keep the focus on her eyes, and has been seen on many a red carpet batting her beautiful cat eyes and cat eyeliner. The end result: Flirty wide-open eyes without any other color competing for attention.
