Two more days until the scariest night of all….well that depends on what you consider scary. My favorite part of course is the makeup, and I am usually the one doing all of my friends before venturing out to be naughty for the night.

To create your cat eyeliner you can start by using a black shadow and Cat Eyeliner Stencil first to get the shape just right, and then with a fine brush, apply your gel Liner over. This is the easiest and quickest way to do.

Once you’re finished with the eyeliner, add a coat of mascara to your lashes first, and then apply your falsies. No mascara is necessary with the special theatrical designs once they are applied to the lashline.

As usual her smoky eyes were glamorous, lovely and flirty all in one, and definitely got my attention.

Lately, there has been some controversy about Botox…I have found some annoying spam in my mailbox telling me that Botox is bad…Well, I just hit delete…Botox happens to be my best friend along with millions of other smart women wanting to keep their forehead and eyes from wrinkling!  It’s a magical thang…And the only real solution for fixing these issues!  Yes, there are some eye creams that do work but they do not eliminate your fine lines and wrinkles completely.  Botox is a temporary fix but your results are immediate and easy to keep wrinkles at bay with a visit to your Doctor every 2 -4 months.

Who wouldn’t want a smoother forehead?  If you have never had Botox injections, then I suggest that you get a referral from a friend or relative who has.  Also make sure to ask your doctor “what her ratio is.” This is the amount of saline they put into the Botox to dilute it.  A good doctor will do 1:1 or 2:1 ratio…any more than that and the strength of the Botox is not as strong and the results will have you begging for more in just a week or so…and spending more money!

I don’t know about you but I want to look at least a decade younger…and it’s easy to achieve with Botox!  Look around you my friends…It is everywhere!  So subtle, yet effective.  Many celebrities get injected every few months to keep their skin looking wrinkle free for the camera…Can’t beat it:)

btw…1 unit runs anywhere from $8-$12…some doctors like to charge 1 flat fee per area.  I suggest doing your research first before you have it done…

• Prep: Wash hair with conditioning products, like Nexxus Therappe Shampoo and Humectress Conditioner, the night before to allow hair time to ‘flatten’ and reduce the risk of static.

• Styling Step #1: Before securing wig, use a boar bristle brush to comb and detangle hair. The bristle fibers will help to distribute hair’s natural oils throughout locks.
• Styling Step #2: Pull hair back into a tight ponytail at the nape of neck, securing with an elastic. Twist ends around into a snug bun, pinning in place with a bobbi pin.
• Styling Step #4: Mist hair with a light-hold hairspray, like Nexxus Comb Thru, and allow to dry.
• Styling Step #5: Place wig on head and use bobbi pins to secure in place. The hairspray used earlier should help the wig from slipping and give extra traction for the bobbi pins.

Winged eye shadow was all over the Fall runways once again and with Halloween right around the corner everyone is getting in on the Cat Eyeliner craze. Diane Kruger who usually keeps her beauty style classic, and chic, decided to take the red hot trend, and make it even hotter with a sea green shadow winged out and practically purring.

At ELLE’s 17th Annual Women in Hollywood tribute the ingenious actress, who is also the face of Calvin Klein’s new fragrance, Beauty, was her own makeup artist for the evening. Using a Cat Eyeliner stencil from the Get in Line Eyeliner and Stencil kit she created the winged liner adding her sea green shadow, and extending outwards along her lids.

To rock a similar look, try the Cat Eye stencil on yourself, and you’ll be sporting red hot winged eyeliner in no time!

About to fix my messy mop head a few weeks ago, I thought to myself, “Wouldn’t it be great if there was an all natural hair serum available, without silicones or drying ingredients?”

And yes, I do have these thoughts about beauty products. All day long actually.

Like magic, that same day I discovered Agape & Zoe. This small company makes all natural perfumes and two hair serums, one of Lavender Orange and the other,  Cucumber Mint. The serum has nothing in it that is chemically derived. It smoothes the frizzies  out of my hair and makes it easier to blow dry without using  heat styling tools. The scent is wonderful as well. Two thumbs up!

Sweet Grass Farm Body Lotion in Sweet Mint smells so good, you will want to keep it close for multiple applications during the day. It melts into your skin and leaves a subtle mint scent on the skin.

If thats not enough to entice you, Sweet Grass Farm blended natural ingredients to come up with this lotion. There is coconut oil and shea butter, green tea extract and vitamins A, E and D in here!

I took a peek at the other products this company offers and now want to order a bunch of their handcrafted soaps. When I think of hemp, I think of two things: hippies and rough hewn clothes. I don’t think of cuticle oil. But this product by Perlier, an Italian company, works wonders on my dry cuticle beds!

Halloween is not just for kids any more.  In fact more adults are into the whole ghosts and goblins thing then ever!  My friend got married on Halloween and this year she is having a big bash to celebrate the day.  I’d say that’s a great way to make the day fun for all…If you check out your local Party City or Halloween Costume Warehouses, you are sure to find a costume to suit your mood.  Many of these places rent costumes with accessories for a reasonable price.

You can even find a dress up theme for your entire family…what fun!  A lot of families make this a yearly event.  It’s bigger than Christmas to some…If you want to keep it more adult, there are many sexy, funny, and scary outfits as well.  Get out the fake blood, guts and gore…

True story; last year I went to an event, an event that is always chocked full of A-list celebs. I look forward to this event all year, the Indie Spirit awards. Fussing with my hair, I decided on a whim to cut it. Since I have no training in hair cuttery, I hacked my hair straight across my brow and gave myself Buster Brown bangs which looked horrible.  I spent the whole evening, and about three weeks after, lamenting over my horrific mistake. Lesson learned!
