A Mega-Smoky Cat Eye That Is Super Hot!

Posted by The Girls in the BSW Beauty Dept. on September 28th, 2010

I just find this look so sexy. I don’t know what it is about a heavily loaded eyelid but each time I see one I am drawn to how gorgeous it really is. The fact that actress Gemma Arterton happens to be stunning probably helps too, but something about  a mega-smoky cat eye just seems extra-fabulous to me on any occasion or red carpet.

My favorite way to get this look on myself is with a cat eyeliner stencil. I just place the stencil over my eye, make sure I like the thickness and point, and fill in with color. That’s it, and then I repeat on the other eye. If you place the stencil high enough you get the heaviness of a smoky eye on the lid, and the winged end of a cat eye as seen here on Gemma. You can soften the line by using an eyeshadow brush.  I love the way her bold smoky eyes make her look like she is a little vixen, but a really sweet one.
