I am so happy I decided to seek out organic makeup because had I not, I wouldn’t have discovered this brand, Nvey Eco Cosmetics.

Made in Australia, the products do not contain any of the harmful chemicals most cosmetics use such as “talc, Parabens, Petroleum based ingredients, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, synthetic fragrances and genetically modified ingredients.”

Ingredients are organic, pure but don’t think the colors are less intense because the ingredients are natural. I thought organic makeup might tend to be grainy or streaky. I was wrong!

The products I tried  were rich in color and have excellent staying power.  I tested two blushes, No. 951 and 952.  I thought they were fantastic shades that were nice and light on my skin. The formula contains Jojoba Oil, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Chamomile. All good for you!

The eyeshadows I tested include no. 167 and 166, both nicely pigmented and easy to blend. These did not cause my eyes to water as eyeshadows sometimes do. I added water to the blue shade, No. 166 and applied above and below the lash line for a darker look.

“To prep Jayma’s skin, I applied mark Primed For Perfection Face Primer to create an even base, followed by mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Natural to fully even out her skin tone. Next, I dabbed mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Natural under her eyes and mark Save the Day Anti-Acne Concealer Stick in Buff/Natural to cover any imperfections. To get her natural looking flush, I used mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy to the apples of her cheeks and mark Glowdacious Illuminating Powder in Shimmied Up to give her a luminous glow. I finished her face by lightly dusting mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Bronze to emphasize the contours of her face.”

Eyes

“I began by lining Jayma’s eyes with mark Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Entourage (black shade) on the top and Surreal (gold shade) on the bottom combined with mark No Place To Run Longwear Eyeliner in Foxy Brown. Next, I applied mark Wink Stick Hook Up Eye Shadow Stick in Cocoa Bean to her full lid and blended in with mark On the Dot Eye Color Compact (gold and brown shades). I added mark I-mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Latte to her crease and finished off the look with two coats of mark Scanda-Lash Hook Up Mascara in Blacklash.”

Lips

“For her lips I used mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Coral Fixation followed by mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine in Swell for a beautiful shiny finish.”
