When it comes to perfectly applied eyeliner, actress Naomi Watts seems to have a good handle on it. Seen here at the Hollywood premiere of Salt, she probably had a makeup artist create her look, but the good news is, even a beauty newbie can get beautiful eyes that stand out, and now it’s even easier than ever.

If it’s a more intense stare you desire, then get it by lining your upper and lower lids first with a black waterproof eyeliner, and then finishing with a shadow.

To finish the look, apply a charcoal shadow along the liner, top and bottom, and using your eyeshadow brush, blend the liner and shadow together. You can also use an eyeliner stencil for an even easier application. To use, hold the stencil labeled Top Liner over the eye and apply your color along the black guide line. Do the same using the Bottom Eyeliner stencil, and sweep the color along the black guide line. Place the stencils away from you eyelids for a thicker line as seen here on Naomi.
