Hey girls, gather round for some adult beverages with sizzle…Instead of having a glass of wine or a beer while sitting pool side, why not mix yourself a sophisticated cocktail that’s tasty and pretty to look at?

Summer cocktails that sizzle...

First get some fun looking cocktail glasses which you can find at Target, Walmart, Kmart, or if you have Dollar Stores or 99 cent Stores near by go there.  (I have found some amazing items I absolutely love)  Okay, my choice of alcohol is Vodka which I like to add pink lemonade, lemonade, pomegranate or blood red orange soda…add a twist of lemon or lime and you’re good to go!  Regarding the vodka ratio, that’s up to you and whether you like your drinks light or strong!:)

Get outside and delicately sip your cocktail.  For added festiveness, add a colorful drink umbrella.  It will make you feel like you’re on a tropical island lounging by the bar…Now get some chips and dips.  One of my favorite dips is made using Hormel Chili (without beans) and a brick of light cream cheese. Take the chili and put into a microwave dish.  Cut the cream cheese brick into small pieces and mix in with the chili.  Cover with a paper towel and cook for 2-3 mins.  Take out and mix well, then place back in microwave for another 1-2 mins.  Place in a ceramic bowl with tortilla chips.  Absolutely delicious!  Also a great dip good with crudites!
