Heidi Klum proves that a sultry smoky eye can be worn all year long, and as dark as you like too! That is if done with the right colors. “The softer the shade, the more appropriate it is for warmer weather,” says makeup artist beth bender, who has worked with Klum in the past, and always enjoys doing her makeup.

Seen here at a recent event, her eyes were rimmed with a thin liner using a sharp black pencil (try benefit’s BADgal Waterproof Eyeliner in Black) “for a less intense smoky effect.” Next the liner was highlighted with pale silver and pink shimmer shadows (try beth bender beauty’s Lights, Camera, Action Eye Shadow Kit). To finish the look, three coats of black mascara were piled on the lashes, and out the door she went!

It has only been five months since Brittany Murphy’s tragic death and now her husband, British businessman Simon Monjack, died mysteriously on May 23, 2010.  Kind of creepy…He recently spoke about dedicating a photography book about the world of ballet to his wife who was so passionate about this classical dance.

Monjack was found dead at age 40, in his Hollywood Hills home by his mother in-law Sharon.  He was in the same bedroom where wife Brittany died 5 months earlier.  Sharon told BSW “that it was so sudden and premature for both of them.  I am numb.”  Monjack’s death is under investigation with the coroner’s office, but his sudden death is thought to have been caused by a heart attack.  A full report should be released in a few weeks.  According to Monjack’s spokesperson, he had recently been told he needed bypass surgery and had been taking heart medication.

Either way, this tragic couple is hopefully back together in a higher capacity.  Sharon Murphy, 57, is now completely alone and left with a $4 million dollar mansion she wishes to vacate immediately.  Unfortunately, sources say, no one will want to purchase this “house of tragedy.”
