Eva Longoria Parker caught our eyes at the On Tour premiere in Cannes, France. Her high drama eyes, with a set of false lash strips made for a super vampy look, and one that we just loved! If you’re thinking of trying a high drama look, celebrity makeup artist beth bender suggests following these steps below.

Lash strips always look better if you start by coating your own lashes with mascara first. Next, trim the lash strip to make sure it fits the length of your eye.

Using a lash glue, apply along the rim, and wait a minute for the glue to get tacky. I like to use my fingers instead of a tweezer to place strip on your lashes. The lash strip should fit comfortably along your eyelid. Hold in place until the glue sets.

A few hints: The strip should be slightly shorter than your natural lashline on each side, and the longest fibers should be on the outer edges.

After being a contestant on American Idol Season 7, Carly Smithson who sang her heart out, could have ended up as lead vocalist for any band…Her voice was that good…At age 26, she is now the front force behind “We Are Fallen,” and surrounded by men.  Something she is used to since owning a Tattoo Shop with husband Todd.  Carly told BSW that “the shop is filled with big, husky men covered in tattoo’s making fun of her Irish accent all day long.  Not much different from the band.”

The bands new album Tear The World Down has a haunting modern rock sound with some Gothic hum thrown into the mix.  With We Are the Fallen’s orchestral strings in the background, Carly’s voice will fill your ears with a mixed variety of emotions and feelings which perfectly fit with ex-Evanescence member Ben Moody’s incredibly visual compositions.  She feels so inspired by the group and raves about the way the band completely understands each other…makes for a much more incredible artistic experience.

To all my peeps out there who need a little organizational guidance…let me be of service to you.  For every season there is a reason to organize.  Whether it’s gathering expenses for your annual taxes or switching winter clothes for summer clothes…you need to be on top of it or you will find yourself amongst major chaos and confusion…

closet chaos be gone...

Lets start with summer…The first thing you’ll need to do is get a few plastic cartons that are designed to fit under a bed.  These can be found at Walmart, Target, K-Mart, etc. Go through your closet and dresser pulling all winter clothes.  Place them neatly on your bed…or if you prefer, throw them into a heap on the floor…(but let me warn you…this will not only add to your present confusion but it will also take you much longer to finish…LOL!) Take each winter item and lay it as flat as possible so you can fit as much as you can into each carton.  Once the carton is full, place the lid tightly on top and scoot under your bed.  Continue to fill each carton until all your winter clothes are out of site.  Oh, and here’s a helpful hint…when storing sweaters make sure you place several cedar chips in the carton to keep moths and other cloth eating insects from designing new patterns on your clothes! Not pretty…

Okay…now find your spring/summer clothes.  I’m sure if they were stored under your bed, in boxes or lord only knows where, they will need some refreshing…I prefer to wash them.  Not only will you get rid of the stale storage smell, you will also avoid wrinkles which avoids ironing…one of my least favorite things to do!  Once your clothes have been properly laundered, you’ll want to separate your clothes by categories, i.e., sun dresses, skirts, shorts, t-shirts…

Life made simpler...

Now that your clothes are organized, you will be of clear mind when picking out the proper outfit for the day…not to mention it’ll help you sleep better at night knowing how fabulous you will look all summer long!!!
