It seems that over the past several months Halle Berry and French Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, have been pretending to be together while out in public with their daughter.  Nahla, 2, is the common bond that keeps them together since they both agree that her happiness and well being are more important than their personal feelings towards each other.

According to BSW sources, Berry kicked him out because he wasn’t pulling his weight in their relationship and she was ready to move on.  Others say Aubry liked to flirt with younger women, especially at work.  Some also claim that he just wanted to be free.  Halle has already been through 2 divorces ( yankee player Dave Justice & singer Eric Benet), and is not looking for a third.  Unfortunately, Aubry and Berry will be connected forever while they co-parent their daughter.  Good thing they still respect each other as individuals…

For Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of singer/songwriter Billy Joel and super model mother Christie Brinkley, life wasn’t always smooth sailing.  Alexa suffered from panic attacks for years and on the day she made that dreaded 911 call she was so low she didn’t think she would ever see light again…

It was revealed later that after her alleged suicide attempt on December 5, 2009, the homeopathic traumeel she had taken could never have put her in any danger.  Alexa was already in a dark place for a year due to heartbreak over her former bassist Jimmy Riot and first time “love.” The two began dating when Alexa was 19.  They lived together for a few years and officially broke up in 2008 with several reconciliations before their final break up.  Depression set in and before she knew it she had allowed herself to say “I want to die.” However, Alexa told BSW reporters that although this is how she felt at the time, she was being over dramatic. All valid feelings for any young girl who is no longer with the one she loves…

Alexa claims she was addicted to Riot, finding it hard to move on.  Keeping her bouts of depression from her family only hurt her in the end.  Immediately after her overdose she followed her mother’s advice and checked herself into a psychiatric hospital for 12 days of therapy.  It helped Alexa to have someone around 24/7 to talk with.

Changes are coming and they are all good, says Alexa.  Her new album due out in June is a different sound for Alexa.  She is thankful for her parents constant support and her new attitude on life.
