Wearing pink on your eyes, lips and cheeks without looking like you’ve been playing with mom’s makeup can be a little tricky, but in the case of Scarlett Johansson, she showed us it can be done and look good too!
The way to do it, says celebrity makeup artist beth bender, is to “keep the shades soft, and not too bright.” Especially with Scarlett whose skin is very pale.
For her blush she chose a color with a hint of apricot/peach to give her cheeks a flushed look, instead of a pink-pink that would have made her look feverish.
Her eyes were created by applying a barely there pale pink shadow on the lids and above the brow bone, next using a rose-burgundy shadow sweep into the crease for contour, and finish with a dusting of light pink-beige on the bottom lids. “You can apply a mixture of the burgundy and pink-beige under the eyes if you desire”, say beth. The entire look took all of 20 minutes, including the pink-beige lip color.

Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift, has just been chosen by COVERGIRL to join the ranks of Queen Latifah, Drew Barrymore, Ellen DeGeneres, Rihanna, and Dania Ramirez, as their new spokeswoman. Swift, the 20 year old, award winning celebrity, just finished shooting her first series of advertisements for a new luxury brand for COVERGIRL.
