The Glee Girls Pay Homage To Madonna

Posted by The Girls in the BSW Beauty Dept. on 21st April 2010

The highly-anticipated Glee episode  “Power of Madonna” aired last night and fans everywhere were not disappointed! The musical numbers covered the Material Girl’s greatest hits, from an impressive performance of “Ray of Light” done on stilts, to a very sultry “Like a Virgin” couples sequence.

Of course, we can’t forget Sue Sylvester’s(aka Jane Lynch’s) awe-inspiring “Vogue” video. Which by the way she worked on for months before taping. So fabulous was it, that at times we had to do a double take on whether it was actually Madonna. Her devotion to Madge ran so deep that we were left repeating the same line over and over again, “What would Madonna do?.”

Glee Power Of Madonna Episode

Of course the girls performing “Express Yourself” in colorful corsets, and with the kind of sauciness only Madonna herself could inspire, made us want to get up and start dancing.  If you happened to catch the number, and loved it as much as we did, tell us your favorite Glee goes Madonna moment in the comments section below!

Posted by The Girls in the BSW Beauty Dept. on 21st April 2010

If you haven’t noticed, the earth is starting to shift causing climates to react like a “yo-yo,” temperatures are inconsistent and earth quakes are more frequent effecting other parts of the world besides California.  I’d say it’s about time we protect mother earth and go back to honoring her.  Now with Gabriel Organics we can do just that while rejuvenating our skin at the same time!

Rejuvenate your skin with Gabriels Organics

Rejuvenate your skin with Gabriel Organics

Gabriel Organics has 19 unique, effective, intensive treatments that gather their main healing components derived from sea botanicals harvested from The Pacific Ocean.  These include white seaweed, red seaweed, sea fennel, sea cucumber, white algae, spirulina, sea clay, & blue green algae. Together they soothe, refine & regenerate while relieving external signs of stress and restoring your skin back to it’s perfect balance…

CEO and founder of the Seattle based Gabriel Cosmetics, Gabriel DeSantino, worked closely with a European bio-chemist to develop botanical formulations for normal to combination skin; dry, dehydrated skin; oily, over active skin; specialty products, and bath & body. As a young boy Gabriel would spend summers on the Pacific Coast of Mexico with his grandmother, collecting seaweed and kelp for her sea-based remedies.  He learned first hand how to combine botanical ingredients to de-stress, remineralize the body in a natural and beneficial manner.

Gabriel Organics are 100% organic and vegan.  This new marine line launches this summer 2010 and will be available at Whole Foods, and natural food/health stores nationwide and in Canada.  Prices range from $22 -$26 depending on the individual product.
