I can’t think of a better way to raise money for a National Women’s History Museum in Washington, D.C., then listening to some of the major icons in music at New York City’s Center.  On April 12, Brooke Shields & Meryl Streep hosted the 125th anniversary of Good House Keeping Magazine by saluting influential and inspirational women in America.

There was a room filled with “girl power” that night says our BSW NYC reporter.  “It was so amazing to be in the company of influential women like Meryl Streep, Marlee Matlin, Brooke Shields, Fran Drescher, Kristen Bell, Laura Benanti, and Hilary Duff.  The high point of the evening…Aretha Franklin!”  WOW.

These women were all decked out in the latest fashions with hair and make up looking clean and fresh.  Easy to achieve with a good mascara, foundation, and black eyeliner…and let’s not forget a good gloss!

This event raised millions of dollars for such a great cause…It’s important for young girls of today to know that women are powerful and capable of anything!  BSW can’t wait for the National Women’s History Museum to be built!  It’s amazing how little is out there about women’s history…It’s about time, don’t ya think…
