Underwood walked the red carpet in a one-shouldered cream Basil Soda cocktail dress, for her performance of “Travelin’ Band” with Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, John Fogerty and Charlie Daniels, she chose a fun, glittering mini-dress (which we just loooved!), and then finished with elegance, in a colorful gown made specially for her by Theia, for her performance of her hit single “Temporary Home.”

Celebrities Rock Out At Coachella Music Festival

Posted by The Girls in the BSW Beauty Dept. on 19th April 2010

This weekend the stars arrived in big numbers for the annual Coachella Music Festival. Despite the desert heat most look very cool, like Kate Bosworth in her Suno dress and Joie sandals, and Rachel Bilson in a Brigid Catiis shirt, Paige Denim shorts, and Ray Bans to protect those gorgeous eyes.  Beyonce, whose husband Jay-Z was performing, was also amongst the stylish who flocked to the Indio Valley, California polo fields for an amazing lineup of artists, including Jay-Z, Muse and the Gorillaz.

Rachel Bilson At Coachella Music Festival

Jay-Z surprised Friday night’s audience by performing “Forever Young” with wife Beyonce. She was amazing, and rocked the stage in cut-off jean shorts and a Wildfox Couture off-the-shoulder tee.  In between braving the heat, and seeing their favorite bands and DJs, Rachel Bilson, Camilla Belle, and Kristen Stewart all stayed cool at various parties such as Lacoste’s poolside bash in Indio.

We asked Bilson what made her decide to come out to Coachella? “I was really excited to see Jay-Z. Once he came out, it was just amazing,” she told us. “It was so crazy. We almost left but decided to stay. I’m glad I saw Beyonce perform.” When it came to surviving the desert festival in style, the actress recommended one of her favorite trends this season. “I’m really loving backpacks,” she said. “They make things so much easier!”

Kristen Stewart at Coachella Music Festival

Kristen Stewart got a little shade in a black tee and baseball cap. Black may not have been the best color for staying cool, but she sure did look happy.

Beauty Style Watch Celebrate’s Te-see’s Birthday

Posted by Quinntin on 19th April 2010

There is only one day a year where we get to celebrate our life on earth and Te-see calls it her “all about me day,” aka, her birthday.  The one day she claims her kids come second!!! Yeah, right!  Friday night, April 16, 2010, Beauty Style Watch and their fabulous friends headed over to Lucy’s 51 in Toluca Lake their favorite watering hole.

Te-see, (bsw editor and vp of marketing) had a fun filled evening with friends drinking delicious peach martinis and eating sweet potato fries and spinach dip.  “It’s been a hell of a ride, Te-see told local reporters from the LA TimesBut Beth and I have worked very hard the past year and a half to get our site where it is today.  We started back in December 2008 with only 2,000 hits a month and now we are up to 1 million plus a month.” So, I guess you could say Te-see had a lot to celebrate.

Te-see looked lovely in her purple top from H&M and her Paige Jeans.  To get Te-see’s look, her sister Beth used the dark amber color from her SGB Kit to rim her entire eye then applied black shadow from her original kit on Te-see’s lash line.   Beth followed with 2 coats of Jane Iredale’s mascara, and Oxygenetix foundation for a smooth and flawless finish.

What an incredible night for Te-see.  She was surrounded by people she loves.  According to Te-see, “life couldn’t get any better!”

Stars Came Out To Good House Keeping’s “Shine On”

Posted by The Girls in the BSW Beauty Dept. on 19th April 2010

I can’t think of a better way to raise money for a National Women’s History Museum in Washington, D.C., then listening to some of the major icons in music at New York City’s Center.  On April 12, Brooke Shields & Meryl Streep hosted the 125th anniversary of Good House Keeping Magazine by saluting influential and inspirational women in America.

There was a room filled with “girl power” that night says our BSW NYC reporter.  “It was so amazing to be in the company of influential women like Meryl Streep, Marlee Matlin, Brooke Shields, Fran Drescher, Kristen Bell, Laura Benanti, and Hilary Duff.  The high point of the evening…Aretha Franklin!”  WOW.

These women were all decked out in the latest fashions with hair and make up looking clean and fresh.  Easy to achieve with a good mascara, foundation, and black eyeliner…and let’s not forget a good gloss!

This event raised millions of dollars for such a great cause…It’s important for young girls of today to know that women are powerful and capable of anything!  BSW can’t wait for the National Women’s History Museum to be built!  It’s amazing how little is out there about women’s history…It’s about time, don’t ya think…
