Stumble It!Spa Week Kicks Off At The Westin NYC

On Monday, ” Dove Deodorant” presented Spa Week. Sponsored by Allure Magazine, the event in it’s twelfth year, promised to deliver……. and it did! In over 200 participating salons and spas in New York, Parlour’s everywhere are offering $50 services! I mean we are talking hour long massages sweetie, and not just mani &pedi’s.
The parties are fabulous! I mean really, who doesn’t love to go to a luxury hotel that greets you with a lovely glass of wine, and a shoulder rub?? Spa 23 in the Westin Hotel in Times Square was the spot, with a gorgeous fitness center and spa where they use Comfort Zone products from Italy. The products are amazing!
I had my first introduction to the line at a spa in New Mexico about a year ago. The company is so dedicated to the pureness of it’s products, which are produced with energy only from renewable resources. The line is extensive, and includes everything for your everyday needs, as well as mens line. If you have a fella like mine who is not fussy about himself, but can appreciate a fine product, then this is for him.
E O V (Essence of Vali) also at the event was another product that makes me feel like like I am floating off somewhere better. I don’t really know what sets this one apart from the others. These essential oils are bar none. Try me, I dare you. Valerie Bennis is a genius, and I love that she promotes her own product day after day. It’s that important to her. Whether you dab this oil behind your ears, on a cotton ball, and into your pillowcase or on your hipbones (worked for me) It makes you happy. Room sprays and also skin balms are available. All gorgeous and lovely.
Sprayology who was also there is a homeopathic oral vitamin spray. Not to take the place of your nutritional supplements, but for a quick rejuvenation why not? It tastes great, and you just spray it right under your tongue. Easy Peasy. I always condone easy; in your own home, of course. Much to your own liking etc. I could go on but won’t:-)
Another great line that I enjoyed checking out was Pure. This is a cool way to have your tea and sip it. Pure is highly concentrated tea, so you just add a drop or two, of your favorite green tea to drinking water, and poof! A flavored hydrating anti-oxidant in raspberry, peach, tropical, vanilla, pineapple, and coconut to name a few. Oh, but my favorite was blueberry and white tea, slightly sweet and very yummy indeed.
Everybody invited had a great time. I walked out into Times Square with sirens blasting, lights flashing everywhere, people trying to hand me useless coupons, and yet I floated all the way back downtown.
