Last night The Bender Sisters got to explore the wonderful world of Spas at The Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, California… All we can say is WOW! What a beautiful layout.  The staff at The Spa at Four Seasons was ready with a smile and extremely helpful.  Loved the energy…no noses up in the air…LOL…

The Bender Sisters couldn’t help but ask Brooke about her favorite Mom of 8, Kate Gosselin…she responded, “I want her to make it because she is a mother…she speaks for all of us.” Well said, Brooke…:)

Other celebrity sightings last night besides “the sisters,” included Antonio Sabato Jr., Brooke Burke, and Michael McGrady from NBC Southland.

Oh, and just a thought…Mother’s Day is right around the corner…what a wonderful way to say “I love you, Mom.”

Another Hollywood couple has called it quits. Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy have ended their five year relationship. They are grateful for the time they spent together, and only wish the best for each other.

“Jim and Jenny have recently decided to end their five-year relationship,” Carrey’s rep Marleah Leslie tells BSW.

The two had supported each other through many life events, including the birth of Carrey’s first grandchild after the actor’s daughter, Jane, gave birth to a son in February.  “I’m so grateful for the years Jim and I shared together,” McCarthy said in a statement. “I will continue to be in his daughter’s life and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart.”

On his Twitter page, Carrey, also echoed her warm sentiments. “I’m grateful 4 the many blessings we’ve shared and I wish her the very best! S’okay!” Carrey Tweeted.

Of course the breakup came as a surprise to many since the pair had always appeared to be amongst Hollywood’s happiest, and most devoted couples. In February, the two were the picture of happiness. “Jenny is the first person that I’ve been with where I don’t have a giant question mark over my head,” Carrey told BSW at an event they hosted to support McCarthy’s autism organization, Generation Rescue, in Miami. He also discussed their upcoming plans for Valentine’s Day, telling us, that “everyday is Valentine’s Day” with McCarthy. So what went wrong guys?

Over the years, Carrey had also grown close to McCarthy’s son, Evan, who has Autism. “He taught me how to love,” said Carrey in 2008 at a march in Washington, D.C. “And without Evan I might never have seen the greatness of Jenny’s spirit.” Some beautiful words from a guy who we thought had finally met his life mate.

A Great Brush: When blow-drying, “I use a boar-bristle Mason Pearson brush and put my head upside down,” says Lakshmi. “Anyone with long hair will tell you that her arms get tired otherwise.” Also, “I hold the dryer by the nozzle for more control.”

Straightening Iron: When the inverted-head blow-dry yields an occasional imperfection, “I fix it with a straightening iron,” she says.
