Celebrities love their smoky eyes, and some won’t even leave the house without them. The good news is you can save the dark smoldering colors for night, and still do a gorgeous eye in softer hues for day. Emma Stone had no problems at all turning heads with her soft plum and violet lids.
THE LOOK: Emma Stone has a tawny complexion, so it made sense to choose a plum shadow, and to give her eyes an extra pop.
WHY IT WORKS: It’s a study in contrasts, Emma chose a bold color and applied a soft coat of it all around her emerald eyes. The result was perfection!
