Create High Drama Eyes For Spring

At her Chloe premiere in New York City, Amanda Seyfried turned heads with lush, intense eye makeup. Celebrity makeup artist, Beth Bender who has worked with Amanda before says “Amanda is so beautiful, she really doesn’t need much.” Her eye color alone is so striking, and the eyeliner creates even more drama.
This look for the premiere was more about the lips by playing up her eyes. To get the look Beth suggests blending a metallic plum shadow above and below the lash line. (Try Passion Flower Eyeshadow Palette, $36, bethbenderbeauty.com) Use an eyeliner stencil and place below lash line before sweeping color along under eye for a perfect application. You can smudge to soften the color with a Q-tip. Highlight the brow bone with the Champagne-gold shimmer in kit, and finish the eyes with 2 generous coats of your favorite black mascara.
For the lips, choose a shade that is similar to your own natural color,” says Bender. In Amanda’s case Strawberry Letter Lip Glaze was just perfect.
