I have to say that sometimes it’s actually fabulous to be a woman…not always…but most of the time…it will be a while till we are completely equal to men in every aspect…I’m sorry to say that there is still a lot of male dominance going on…even in the church.
However, I have decided to take the gifts that God has given me and use them for my benefit…hey, why the heck not??? Men do all the time…Our most powerful weapon ladies is our charm & natural sex appeal…throw on a stylish outfit, a little eye makeup, gloss and turn on your sweetest voice…believe me it does work.
Here is a perfect example of when it pays to be charming…My car was in the shop this past weekend for it’s 60,000 mile check up…yes, cha ching…any way, I get a call from the manager of the auto shop at 2pm saying “the box for my timing belt, drive belt, & alternator belt was mismarked…so, it didn’t look like I was getting my car back until Monday mid afternoon! ugh!!!!!!!!!! This was not gonna work for me…After turning on the charm, not only did I get a free rental for 2 1/2 days…but he also threw in a free oil change to boot…Not bad for being charming…it also helps to shower them with compliments…
Now, for a twist on this…On Sunday, March 7, 2010, the 82nd Annual Academy Awards will air on national television and this year the female nominees for Oscars are undoubtedly some heavy hitters in Hollywood. Let’s take a look…

Katherine Bigelow, director of "The Hurt Locker"
Katherine Bigelow is not only beautiful inside & out, she is extremely talented in a field that is predominately male…and look…she’s up against some heavy male hitters…let’s keep our fingers crossed…it’s about time a woman won an academy award for “best film director.”

Meryl Streep up for "best actress"
This lady has been highly regarded as one of the best in her field…which is acting…her career has taken her from young ingenue to being an accomplished mother who is fooling around with her ex-husband…Throughout her very successful career, Meryl has managed to raise 4 children and keep her personal life out of the media…Pretty amazing and not an easy task. However, Meryl managed to use her intelligence, charm, grace and talent to build a career worth smiling about…

Sandra Bullock at the SAG AWARDS
And last but not least…Miss Sandy Bullock…here is a gal who can make us laugh, cry, and think all in one, with beauty and charm! Sandra started out doing theater and television which eventually landed her on the big screen. The Girls at BSW think it’s about time she’s been nominated for an Oscar!!!
So, girls…take your best attributes and use them to your advantage…remember though, “you do get more with honey”…:)
