Anna Paquin fly’s under the paparazzi radar in Hollywood, but every once in a while she is spotted attending an event, and she always looks beautiful. Like at the Costume Designer’s Guild Awards held in Los Angeles, where it was hard not to notice her striking eyes.  Since it was the Costume Designer’s Guild Awards, her makeup artist, Monica Blunder felt she needed to step the makeup up a notch.

So, she started by rimming Paquin’s lids with a black waterproof eye pencil, and then blended an olive shadow on the outer corners of her top and bottom lashes. “The dress had a hint of green—I wanted to achieve that same color on her eyes,” said Blunder. She finished the eyes with a full strip of false lashes for even more drama, and we give this look a BSW red carpet thumbs up!
